Hey Apple TV users, has anyone managed to get their home kit to work on Apple TV?

I’ve added myself into the Apple TV HomeKit already but I do not see anything or even the home button in the control centre

How do I get it to work? Or is it not compatible in Malaysia ?

Hmmm… Malaysia cannot use Siri for Apple TV? Damn… I buy this because I wanted to use voice command to search movie. Now I have to type again.

You can use voice to search in YouTube, Netflix, HBOGo etc. You just can't use Siri

I'm trying to see if it's worth buying it for my dad for him to watch his mainland chinese drama from iQiyi and WeTV, knowing that tvOS is more user friendly and trouble-free than those el-cheapo Android-port boxes...

If got budget than proceed, quality with 4k tv, fast internet should consider satisfied.

Hello guys, just want to ask did apple recently allow for Siri to be used in Malaysia ?

I’ve been using my Apple TV with my main Malaysian account and an Australian account for fitness plies. Normally can only use the Siri on the Australian account but today after update to 14.7 beta I could use Apple TV on the Malaysian account too

Astro GO app does not have an Apple TV version... and Airplay doesn't work on Astro GO...

Else I would have bought Apple TV 4K from the start... now I'm just on the fence...

I have the Nimbus not Nimbus+, but
you need to almost touch the Nimbus to the ATV4K when pairing.
After that it should work from normal distance.

i have been using Getflix and has been working ok for many years. When looking for DNS geo unblockers, make sure

1) They support all the channels that you have to watch. Netflix is the worst as most VPNs and DNS unblockers do not support US Netflix well especially on Apple TV.
2) They support DDNS update as your account it tied to your IP address so you will need to set up your router to update your public DNS address automatically to the geo unblocking service. You also need to make sure your service provider and router supports this feature. Unless you are using static public IP address, your IP will be changing frequently.

you can check stacksocial webpage for lifetime bundle for DNS service. There is one now by keepsolid but i can't tell if that service supports DDNS update.

I have an issue here. I hope someone can help. I try to pair my Dualshock 4 controller but my apple TV cannot detect it. I already follow the instruction, even i also claim a replacement from Apple. I told their Bluetooth may have a problem. I can pair my Dualshock to my android phone without any issue

Is it first gen DualShock 4?

How to determine it? Mine is the controller came with playstation 4 slim generation.
