There are tons of china products which are actually cheap but last time middle man bring it and mark up so much.

For example : ugreen now direct sell in malaysia. A lot related local seller seem affected.

aliexpress still can survive because they target world wide. People in NA SA EU Russia still say it is damn cheap compare to their local price. LOL

Sometimes item from oversea ships faster than local courier company.
Oversea shipping takes around 10-14days. local shipping depends on courier company took the same days to deliver. Hence getting from cheaper option.

It's not really free shipping. Everything is included already or worst they will just cancelled without consequences.

Example?

I 'bought' a foldable bath tub in lazada for RM260 or so. After using their 3 items 6% off (add those RM1 or RM2 items), plus the voucher club discount, got a good deal for just RM220. However the seller also not stupid. He shipped those RM1 and RM2 items but leave the bath tub until Lazada auto cancelled and refund. I complained to Lazada that he's still listing the bath tub (despite telling me no stock) but to no avail.

In the end, I bought direct from taobao. Bath tub was only RM12x but shipping via sea cost RM130. So there you get it. Nothing is free.

This is why now I testing their shipment. I recently bought furniture. I check the price vs their real shop in taobao. The price is tally. And the shipping method is free. I place each unit per order. So I just wait what will going on.

The item is already cheap in the first place. Its just our distributor in Malaysia selling insanely price. Have u ever wonder why for the same brand and model, Malaysia is always selling higher price than other countries?

I've browsed items on Lazada as well and compared the prices with Taobao. When you include shipping charges to Malaysia it's almost similar more or less.
The only time I preferred to buy directly from Taobao when variety of some products that I wanted only available there. Shopee do carry out large range of items to pick on but due to insane cheap prices almost all sold out quickly. Which is the part that I hate most,since certain stuff could take 4-5 months for seller to restock again. They don't fill them up quickly.

On Taobao options are limitless with cheaper price tag except we also have to kira also the shipping cost.

It is okay... my Lazada or Shopee experience is still top notch since I dont really buy much from China. I do like Taobao except when buying clothes. I think their sizes are way off and too inconsistent.

Do you know if you not stay in KL/selangor which you want to claim from those small company 1 round shipping for your goods bear by buyer/ customer? Let say your goods is 10kg. 1 round shipping (send and receive) you know how much charges, dude?

It is depend on the goods itself. If it is cheap no one will care the warranty unless the goods you buy is like shit brand which can not long lasting.

Anyhow you can say lemon unit can not avoid bla bla bla, you still got 15 days to reject thru lazada and get full refund.

And that is why they can sell cheap and local sell more expensive for the same item.

Because 1), local seller is the middleman, and they want profit. China seller sell cheaper because direct manufacturer, And 2) cost of living in malaysia is higher than china, hence profit margin for local seller is way higher than china seller.
