Because with them opening up shipping channel to china seller to directly sell and ship to malaysia customer meaning they will kill local competition, hence killing you in the process. If you are subscribed to their FSP or CCB, maybe you should reconsider whether u still want to stay or unsub from all their program. as you already know starting this June, commission fee 2.12% will be imposed. It is a matter of time before they know how to use shopee site until they will unseat all MY sellers.

i wonder if lzd also having china sellers with shipping channel ready for them to ship quickly to MY.

lazada global seller is good now. they offer big heavy weight product free shipping some more. how can local seller survive.

So it is good competition against those local seller. If can no do the business then please keep skin.

Bro, it’s year 2021, you can’t expect people to stuck in 2000s-ish where you can just import MiC stuffs and profit just from reselling at higher price.

You need to change your business models to accommodate those new drop shippers directly from China itself.

One thing China drop-shippers can’t rival local seller yet is the local availability/delivery and warranty. You need to know and fight with the advantages you have instead of red-eying more and more competitors join the game.

Here inter-asia monopoly business RM345.5

So you wish to protect this kind of business err? If direct sell in here why we need to pay more?

If I want fast local. If not, china. Good thing local price will not be too high. Now we know how much local seller mark up the price.

dont know how many product from China drop ship beat my price online.
yet i still manage to tweak and change my business concept.

survived until today and still adding more employees to fight together.

my advice is, stop complaining and get some motivation to compete better.

Businesses isn't all about importing things from China & resell in Malaysia. There's a lot of businesses that goes obsolete as the time changes. This is no different from people who were selling floppy disk & DVD whining about their business dying or taxi drivers protesting against Uber & Grab.

Those who got too complacent & hope for protection are the ones that will go obsolete fast. Being in business means the constant need to adopt, evolve, adapt & improve. One must be really foolish not to see this coming from years ago. Now Shopee introducing sales commission, these are the same sellers that whine until no end cause they got no other USP besides "cheapest".

fully agreed. I'm a local Shopee seller and I can confidently say that I'm still edging ahead of China competitors.

Competition is healthy, keeps me in the game.

Because they literally manufacture every single thing there. If you buy from local sellers, you are paying for that "middleman" fee.

Depends.

For me I often buy stationary and writing items. Almost pengsan once saw small deco papers and stickers sold by local seller are 40%-50% higher than China sellers.

Yeah if want fast can pay more and get the item shipped quicker. But if you want better prices China sellers are the way to go. Noticed some of them has 100k followers of their shops all vouchers and product variety are sold out within few weeks. Which is huge disadvantage if you're chasing for certain items but with cheaper price tag.

for me, local price sell a bit expensive then china price (same product).
but i wonder why shipping cost from china or korea,they only charge for rm5-rm6.
