How fast is Versa withdrawal? For KDI, if I withdraw before office hour, usually I can receive it around 8pm-10pm.

yeah 3.9% for flexible saving isnt too bad at all
*
Remember it is not fixed 3.9% πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ the reason why Feb is high it is because it is only 28 days hence interest would be higher compared to March onwards

How many accounts can you open in the 1st place and it is not like you have multiple ICs and money anyway πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Once you start doing too often Versa would start cutting back on their promo thanks to ppl like you πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

rebates is it the bonus? 4.0% - 3.9% ?  The 0.1%?

I don't know. Just asking.
*
Yes the paid out is top up the shortfall of the base net return of 3.9% in Feb and any promo if it is running

QUOTE(bokbokchai @ Mar 10 2023, 10:32 AM)
Feb only 28 days maybe thats why interest low a bit?
*
Nothing to do with the days πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

It is paid out for any shortfall from the promo rates

In fact the lesser the days in a month the higher base net return

How you factor in rebates and paid out since you got shortfall? Of 0.16%

that is the best case scenario

challenging to track due to weekend/public holiday, fund price not being updated
rounding which may result in partial return being reflected in earlier or later NAV
NAV 1 Feb RM 1.1813, 4% for 28 days --> RM 0.0036
increase in NAV yields RM 0.0018 while distribution contributes RM 0.0016
so the rebate should be the shortfall of RM 0.0002 (0.16%) per unit
based on the number of unit as at 1 Feb (1 Feb balance / RM 1.1813)
therefore, rebate = unit x shortfall per unit

if the rebate credited s lower than the above, it is lower than 4%; vice versa
*
A bit difficult to track also because of rounding to the nearest 0.01 hence might be shortfall from there

Sorry for stupid question. What is that tax voucher for? it is tax exempted rite?
*
Tax voucher is to show that is exempted for tax because of monthly paid out while paying associated fees

MMF and FD are tax exempted unless stated otherwise

The reduced withdrawal time is nice, but will the expected returns be the same as the regular fund? Most shariah-compliant investments have lower returns than conventional ones.

Read the fundsheet as it is written there πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

It will 0.3% less in return on average

most important is bottom line- earning nett same 4.0% till 30.6.23
Regular Versa not bad also, tested WD 28.3.23 Tue 12.20pm, money in bank next dayΒ  29.3.23 3.00pm! Even faster than if WD KDI so late.

Versa only problem is deposit slow, cant fight KDI same day earning interest.
Versa said we will get same 4% for both
Ini betul kah you sudah baca?
Versa already statedΒ  both will pay us nett 4.0% SAME!

Why you want to mislead people here?
mana proof Versa said it will pay Cash iΒ  0.3% lower?
fierce fight for KDIΒ  now

if tested consistentlyΒ  can get money in time during WD,i may move from KDI .
betterΒ  if can improve deposit time lag.
*
Go read properly the fund fact sheet πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

4% is temporary promo as we are talking about the fund base net return not promo rates πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ while 4% is only up till end of June

You want to know very simple go take a look at the base net return then you know πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

I already put in excess into this fund since they launch last year Nov πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

You are againΒ  wrong on both counts
What rubbish base net return?
1)when people asked like that, give straightΒ  answer
no need pusing pusing.

dont pretend clever say it is 0.3% LOWER on average
and rubbish base net return...doh.gifΒ  doh.gif

you enjoy giving funny answer then qualified yourself, say it is base rate lah!
warn them.
but see your answer.
Who asked you for Base rate?
what for ?

people want to know actual return rate !
and rate NOW!
not 3 months later after June 2023!

same like FD promo
dontΒ  cheat people with bundle rate,
tellΒ  effective rate ok?

2)Base rate also you wrong
next timeΒ  check first lah before simply hantam.

who is gonna check you right?
*
Only rubbish yourself when now Versa is using base net return since Feb πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Go check for March for latest because it is 3.95% vs 3.08% πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

pusing pusing cakap pandai doh.gif  doh.gif
yes true
i am going  for the Versa Cash i

Only 4% for 1st 30k πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈπŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Bleh, "projected" 4.1 instead of guaranteed, and still take two years to deposit and withdraw.

Misleading advertisment at worse, mediocre offering at best.

Two years πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

It is 4 days if you look at the actual management itself so it will definitely beyond that at least a week now

I did ask their support. They said it's ultra low risk and very unlikely to underperform. Marketing talk.

Typical Stashaway marketing when they project it will likely underperform

Even now with projected 3.3% I doubt is hitting 3% now πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ unless some guineapigs who have put in can show me

Agree.
Are KDI and Versa also lousy no point ?
*
KDI liquidity fast withdrawal but fixed 3.5%

Versa is higher with promo rate at 4% but need 1 business day withdrawal

Stashaway Simple now projected rate is higher but slow liquidity with at least 2 business day withdrawal

So if it up to you which is better as no one fund fit theme all πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ

Was appreciating guy3288's post.
And suggesting to factor in the cost.
Not that I care about stash, but interested between V and KDI.
TQ for the tip on liquidity and rate.
*
What cost? πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ Costs is already deducted from the returns

MMF Costs the fund house will deducted from the gross return and what you are getting is the net return after deducting costs
