That Saturday is not the worst day, since you do get overnight interest. I haven't tried on Sunday so can't say about that.

Like I said Saturday because Sunday you don’t interest at all

Overnight interest will be everyday irregardless whether weekend as long it is more than rm100 deposit so don’t need wait until Saturday

So which is worst? Saturday or Sunday? If Sunday no interest at all, why Saturday is the worstt?
At least on Saturday I got overnight interest, from my experience.

Or maybe, just maybe:
Someone's FD matured on Saturday or he received money to his account on that day.
So instead of letting it idle over the weekend till Monday, he could transfer it directly on Saturday to get some overnight interest?

Instead of assuming someone purposely letting the money sit for one week in savings account until Saturday.

Both equally worst because delaying in buying and earning interest but as long deposit more than rm100 overnight interest is incurred doesn’t matter what is the day

Why bother putting in FD when MMF is better in terms of returns and when move you money too much you just lost time in earning the interests

From me clarifying that sometimes people might get morey on weekends, thus depositing on Saturday in Versa is not a bad idea since you get overnight interest:

Learn to read as overnight interest is incurred anyway as long you deposit rm100 on any day so silly put in on Saturday when you already lost 2 days of time to earn interest on that and you seriously doesn’t know how Versa at all

Putting FD is stupid because your money is locked in and if you withdraw earlier before due you just the lost 8nterest hence MMF is the way forward with compounding and when move your money with too many channels you just lost interest instead

A simple one liner just go and read how overnight interest works for more than rm100 and learn why it is bad on the weekends as you just missed out 2 days on interest still is floating around and will be only on Monday’s

I could not agree with you more. Don't bother trying to understand what he is saying because he keeps contradicting himself in his argument. I believe he does not even understand how overnight interest work for Versa based on his comments. When he loses an argument, he just change the topic into something unrelated. Even when you clarify further, he will just ignore it and keep posting more garbage. I have experienced it myself before. He also likes to spam facepalm and clap smilies in many of his posts which is just so irritating.

lately for the past few months, Versa's withdrawal amount is slightly lesser than my input amount.

kinda tricky/annoying if you intend to withdraw some specific amount, eg. RM10,000. but Versa's final amount is about RM9,989 (example)


many months back, their withdrawal amount is usually slightly higher. at least you'd know you get the amount (min) you actually wanted to withdraw.

eg you withdraw RM10,000, but Versa's amount would be RM10,005.00 (example)


p/s: yes, i do understand they convert from units -> RM.
