Should I be worried about her moving into her new place more, or should I be worried about her being in the kennel and mosquitoes attack more? I cannot balance the importance.

One side, I worry she stress in the new home and vaccination
One side, I cannot wait and worry about the mosquito attacks
The post from Marcus Lim, dont buy. He is a scammer, even though in this case he will sell the buyer a Westie of 18 months. He also bought from Mr. Chan, my breeder. The problem with this guy is that last time he bought 3 Westies from Mr. Chan for 5k. He sell my friend sister (who is best friend with his wife) a 4 year breeding female Westie which has been debark for 2.5k to make money out of her.

Then some more lied to her saying that buy the female Westie from him cause he cannot take care of so many and he has the intention to breed them as side biz. Now, he just want to sell it off after digging some profits.
Is the junnie the same junnie87 in LYP.net?
Yes, I think so too... but then I worry about the vaccination part la.
*
Well, if I were you, I would take on Thursday loh.... you don't need to worry too much about the new home thing. It would be ok for her. It will just stress her abit, but the mozzies are worrying coz it can bring on heartworm since heartworm is passed on thru mozzies.

Ohhh.... so that is the guy.... no wonder name so familiar but I forgot where I saw before.

Evil guy.... may he rot later on.

Yah, same junnie. She post all over the internet, to me... just a bit too many classifieds.

I brought Cassie home already!

First we went to pick up Cassie from breeder's place. The breeder gave me a box of Nutri-Edge. Then, drove to a relative's house and she gave me a pack of Blackwood puppy.

Then, I went around town looking for the right cage, couldnt find any until I called Joan (jtl) and she helped me out by recommending a cat's cage which is huge! Totally worth it cause I'm looking for something with two-doors. One on the side and another in the front! Best part is this cage has wheels! Talk about mobility!

Cassie sleep in the car so soundly, no car sick like Casper. Then we went to the vet and had her ears clean out and took a syringe to prevent mange since she has been mosquito bitten.

I will post up some pictures later.
*
Hahaha.... Joan will have what you want, she is great!

Good that you have Cassie now.... the 1st week is of course the most exciting week for you and also crucial at training her to get used to her new environment. Sure you will be enjoying yourself. tongue.gif

Cage, ball, tug rope, bowl. I forgot to buy Oxyfresh!
Ok, I will post up a pict tonight. I'm darn tired, so are both Casper and Cassie. When they meet, like damn excited but now Cassie sleeping under the sofa, Casper sleeping on the floor, I'm in between them.
Joan is great! Agreed!!

Casper keep licking Cassie's private part... I know about smelling backside, but like privates? Is this normal?
*
Hahah... yah.... male licking female is normal.... well, it is like saying hi LOL.... and also he is showing interest, knowing Cassie is a female.

It is better you change loh.... coz dogs can't differentiate names.... they differentiate sounds.... so get something that sounds different. Or call with a different tone.

If Casper licks alot, then stop him if you do not want it to be a habit. Just a No and push him aside.

Maybe I will even call her Misty!

A question for Hun regarding dog body odour, last time jtl and Hun recommended Oxyfresh but today go jtl shop, forgot to buy. Come back Klang find, no one has it.

I was told that garlic is also helpful with dog body odour, is that true? How do we encourage our dogs to eat garlic? Preferably pills or natural garlic? Please advise.
*
LOL.... how come forget? Rush rush heheheheh or maybe head too much Cassie liao.

Anyway, garlic capsules.... it can control body odour but I think you should use the ones for dogs.... coz garlic, too much of it can cause blood problems in dogs.... so better get something that is made for dogs, just to be safe.

Another way is applying baking soda. Take a handful of baking soda, rub into his fur and skin, then you leave it for a few minutes, then take a brush and brush off all the baking soda.

What you do is.... if it is those oil capsules, just poke a hole, squirt out the garlic oil, mix it with some ceasar and oats to make it stick together like a ball and feed it.

Ok... the thing about milk..... The only Lactose free milk in the market is called Pets Own and it is in milk packet form..... all other dog replacement milk are not lactose free..... They have lactose but instead of the usual 5% found in cow and goats milk, they reduce it to 4% or 3.5%.... Some dogs got extra sensitive stomachs so they cannot tolerate.

You don't need to feed milk to a 2 month old pup coz already weaned off milk, mother's milk and replacement milk got different lactose %.... the expensive brands for newborn pups are the best to give but super expensive... the cheap ones, got a higher % of lactose. Read the labels, the label did say that if dog or puppy experience diarrhea, stop the milk..... To fatten a dog, just feed food that is higher in protein.

Why you buy? Who told you to buy? Do you know that is an antibiotic for eye infections? If you use it on your dog now, and when it really has an eye infection, the antibiotic won't work, dog will become immune to it and you would have to fork out more money for stronger antibiotics.... even human eat antibiotic also is bad. Who told you to buy?

That's why I never listen to petshop unless it's Joan heheheh..... well, Vets of course use that lah, that is an antibiotic, even I use before for my own eye infection, you can buy it at normal pharmacy summore.

Go to Pharmacy, get artificial tear drops.... I can't remember the brand I use before but get one that is something like natural tears..... Do not get eyemo, I dunno why but my vet told me not to.... You can use other brands. Artificial tears eye drop is for dry eyes, not for eye infection.... it just moisten and protect the eyes.

You can only use that eye drop IF your pup's eye got infection like redness or itchiness...

Actually, eye drops.... there is no need for it unless your dog got those big big goldfish eyes or your dog always have very teary eyes....

Well... if you still wanna use a muzzle.... what I can think of is using it as a punishment.... like say when she starts barking, muzzle her and leave her till she calms down.... once she calms down, take it off.... then she will understand that barking at night would result in muzzling.

Anyway, I came upon this ad..... so .... pitiful.....

user posted image

Don't you guys think that the female dog looks pitiful with all the fur shaved? Then her skin like got wounds.... and the pups? Selling for RM23000? Wah.... so high price? Look at the cage tray, the stains.... pee and poo all there....

Shetland Sheepdog.... it could be a petshop or puppy mill... I got no idea but all the cages used are stainless steel so it is better than the normal cage. But then how come the female like that right?

Lassie is a Rough Collie

Shetland sheepdog is called Sheltie, a mini version lah.

Yes, this is in Malaysia.... penang I think..... See lah, people breed dogs for money these days. Very few breeders that do it commercially think of their welfare.... good homebreeders and show breeders give lots of care and advice if you ask them.... but when I saw that pic, really heart breaking.... the female looks haggard, she is flabby from the pregnancy but she doesn't look thin. See her eyes.... see her skin... see her tail..... sad sad sad.

Oh yah, Pennywise, my Chelsea only stopped barking when I let her sleep in my room too.... but yah, it will cause your Casper to become jealous since a younger pup takes the side of the owners bed could make him confuse over his place in your family.

That one memang nice.... but you read back the page before and see what local breeders do....

Added on October 16, 2007, 5:18 pmTsk tsk.... remember that pic of the poor female sheltie with puppies? This is what the breeder placed as title of ad in adpost.

sheepland sherpdog taiwan champion puppy

He don't even know the name of the breed.... as in spelling also wrong, pronunciation also a bit out if according to the spelling.... Taiwan Champion looks so haggard and with shaved hair? Wonder which dog show it went....
