Puppy Cottage is so far the only boarding facility that has CCTV of your dogs, then you can view online if you are overseas. I haven't been there but their services and overall shop setting is pretty good to me. Comfortable and clean environment.

Hmmm.... I have never experience this before. Why not you call the vet you usually go to and ask them if nose bleeds is something serious or not. They can explain better. You don't always have to rush to a vet for some a few questions or minor problems, you can always call them up.

Bulldog is the worst to jaga rumah lah.... they play wan.

If you want a watch dog, get a mini pincher or schnauzer, they will bark when got people come by.

If you want a dog to guard house, small dogs cannot loh.... you must invest in dogs that are highly trained for guarding like GSD, doberman, pit bull.....

Bull terrier and pitt bull different loh.... Bull terrier got miniature and standard size.... the mini size is a bit smaller lah.... pitbull no small size LOL.

Anyway, watch dog means a dog that can alert you and bark loudly when got stranger or danger....

Guard dogs are those that attack people on command and are highly trained to do protection job.

extinct? Har? Really? I don't think so..... bull terriers are an uncommon breed to keep but there are people breeding and selling this breed. I saw adpost, got 1 pure white one.... sob sob.... so nice but no no... I cannot have anymore dogs hahahah.

Bull terriers used to be fighting dogs.... look at their large jaws and big head, stout muscular body..... all built for fighting....

Most of the bull terriers in Malaysia are the mini type. But they mini also not very small wan, just slightly smaller than the standard ones.

HAhaha.... GS got someone selling pitbulls as bull terriers.... price a bit too high for pitbull as well.

If the pup is well socialized, it would be friendly. Bull Terriers should be a 1 household dog coz they can be quite aggressive and dominant over territory.... unless that house already got an older dog, introducing a bull terrier pup would make it respect the older dog. Then it would be fine.

Hahaha.... short and stout... when you see it run, very cute wan. They got that large egg face head heheheh.

It is still better for Moonie to stay separated till she finish vaccination.

You also have to, no matter what lah, separate Moonie and Casper when Moonie on heat. Having a litter during the 1st heat is not healthy.... too risky. Also, separation is best more than 3 weeks.

My dad bought Chelsea a Gold Kimono.... pure silk summore.... sigh.... I get a key chain and tshirt, while my dog gets a fancy kimono that is worth more than my gifts hahahaha.

Bleh, I forgot.... not a gold Kimono but a red one with a gold bow.... expensive loh.... about Rm50 I think.

Oh yah, just to let you know, my Chelsea made a big hole in the small green bone. So naughty. But she enjoy the pink bone more.

Go Thailand buy heheheh.... my dad got it from the airport there. Strange rite? Airport sell doggy clothes.... Luckily Chelsea can fit, coz it was the biggest one there.

Not hate it... she loved it till pull out everything hahahah.... but we mend back the bone. Now, dunno where she throw it or hide it, I can only see the pink bone.

Yah loh... She likes to play fetch with the bone, the pink one lah. The green one she likes to chew chew.

Hhaha... yah, sometimes the toys are everywhere but you can train. I saw someone trained his CKCS to do that on Youtube! So nice.... Chelsea got I think 12 soft toys.... so many for a dog hhaha.... but she won't put it everywhere. 1 teddy bear in my bedroom, then she got 4 favourites that she will ask us to play fetch with, which is the pink bone, a monkey, a pig and a bear.... then the rest are on the sofa. If she bored, she would go and take 1 toy from the sofa to play. Sometimes it just at the sofa, never everywhere hahha.

Some dogs got that prey drive. Soft toys feel like prey to them so they got this instinct to destroy.

Chelsea never tries to get it off. For CNY, we always dress her up and bring her go house visiting. The kimono is for the coming CNY hahahah.... she also very lucky, get ang pao.... but I think when it was the year of the dog that time, her ang paos were more. 1 aunty gave her RM20 loh..... so lucky.

Your Kero, got like to sit on you? When I first got Chelsea, she almost choke me during my sleep. She would climb on my bed and sleep on my neck.... sometimes sleep on my tummy.... now, she is contented to sleep next to my head on my pillow.... that's why all my pics, she is always on my bed and pillow hahahah.

Chelsea likes soft toys more. My Tammy(lab) she likes nylon bones more. Hahaha... last time Chelsea chewed plastic and swallowed some, I got a scare when her poop was pink like the plastic.

No problem. She got a few other clothes but they are not dog clothes hehehehe.... I buy from Children section for like Rm5 only.... wait I find them back, then post again lah.

It's hard.... for me I cut by judging the curve of the nail. Then I trim where I think the quick(vein) is not too near.... hahha... hard to explain lah. My 2 rabbits are black, and I trim their black nails.... so far I have never made 1 injured during nail trimming..... what you can do is take off a bit at a time. Place some corn flour near to you so that if a nail starts to bleed, apply some corn flour onto the bleeding nail. It will stop the bleeding, form a crust and is pretty safe.

Is possible. 1st, place the kittens in a cage. Then let your dog see them and have them around. If your dog is not clawing the cage and not barking anymore(if he did earlier lah) then you can proceed for him to be nearer to the kittens and remove them from the cage.

Monitor.... you really need to do this slowly everyday till your shih tzu doesn't chase or bark at them anymore.

If your shih tzu doesn't bark at the kittens, and he kinda cuddles with them or ignore them, reward him with treats. Push a kitten in front of him and see his reaction. If he doesn't bark or bite, then reward him again. Do this and he will realize that kittens means good things to come

Canned food has not much nutrition, low in protein, just high in flavourings and water content.

There are many dog food brands available. What I can say is stay away from supermarket brands like Alpo, Pedigree, Trusty and those cheap priced ones. Look out for woods like super premium and holistic. Once you locate these words, read the ingredients. Try and stay away from food that contains corn, colouring, by-products, wheat and soy.

Cheddar is quite high in salt and fat... parmesan is ok.

I live in Setapak, we both visit the same vet.... but I will never send my dog to any grooming service around Setapak coz they do not do it properly. Do it yourself. I actually had a shih tzu before, I groomed him myself for 10 years, include cutting his fur, bathing him and normal grooming. At that time I was only 12 years old..... so learn.... you can learn to groom your dog yourself. If I could do it at 12, you could do it too.
