RM85 for basic grooming - shower, clean ears, cut paw hair, cut butt hair, shave ears. Not full grooming. One groomer was nice enough to snip a bit and trim for Casper. The other just didnt trim Moonie at all. So can say one groomer was more hardworking than the other.

I just dont want my dogs to keep on eating the same thing, change here and there. We fed Natural Balance before Evanger, so now back to Natural Balance. Next, I dont even know what to go for...
FYI.

Oh so it is not full groom yeah? Actually not the other groomer is not hardworking, its more like, you just pay for basic groom, why should I do extra? Hhahaha... the other one is just nice happy.gif Want Casper to look nicer. So 2 groomer working at the same time. Next time maybe you can demand for the hardworking groomer to groom for them both tongue.gif

I stop on evangers (finished last week) and now giving them Canidae. Before evangers Miki was on Canidae, its a all life stage food too, maybe you can look out for that?

Yea la... The lazy groomer dont give extra mile. The other one was kind enough to do it. However, the lazy groomer is a pro, she cut Moonie now look like a teddy bear. Later tonight I upload some photos.

Canidae is life stages I know. Always wanted to buy it but do they have big bags? I bought Natural Balance which is 15.9kg wan for RM195. Now I headache cause my house dont have such a big container. Need to find the keropok container.
*
Yes they have big bags, 15kgs packet =) I have yet to buy the biggest lolx tongue.gif

Casper eyes are normal... this one he's just trying to look up.
Oh I see... I think Seapark Pet Supplies dont carry them. Where did you see their 15kg bag for Canidae?
All I know is PetShack at Sunway Mentari and House of Groomers. Ask Joanalooidog she get it somewhere in Klang.

Hahaha... are all Westies alike? Anyway, good that he like Heartgard. You should watch my spoilt brat wrestle me while I was trying to feed him Heartgard with the plastic syringe yesterday. Had to break it into smaller pieces to fit the syringe and pump it down his throat. No choice, had to keep him healthy - too broke for medical bills now.
*
Maybe next time you can buy tablet kind of heartworm prevention, it is easier to feed down the throat comparing breaking heartgard into pieces. Heartgard is quite big piece yah?

Tablet kind? Heartgard is like a small cube size, had to break it only can fit in the plastic syringe.

Now I in need of urgent help. My dogs now roam the kitchen but then it's smelly when I return from work, even though there's no poo / pee anywhere else but the paper. The air is... yucks!

How can I neutralize the air so it doesnt smell so bad. I had opened the window and turn on the ventilation fan. Also sprayed some of those Ambipur kind of thing and mopped the floor twice. Now, I am going to mop again with Dettol+water.
*
I heard that people are giving HeartGard because they find it hard to get the dog to swallow pills, and most dogs will chew the beef flavour HeartGard happily, but it seems the opposite on your site tongue.gif
HeartGard is only a brand of heartworm prevention, there is some other brand. Tablet one should be smaller then the cube. Any doubt about the brand, you should consult your vet. I am not professional but I am feeding tablet kind cause I don't want to worry about my girls not chewing the HeartGard.

They are taking Natural Balance already? Does that mean eating Natural Balance the poop is smellier then your previous brand? rclxub.gif And you already doing more then what I usually did sweat.gif still that bad smell?

I normally bake a meat loaf for my two furkids once i a while. Those are nearly 100% meat and you stink up their breath for a few days  icon_question.gif .

My wife (used to be fiancee, but on her request i'd stop calling her that  blush.gif  ) likes buying Ceaser, which although looks ok does not smell the same.

I recently tried natural balance's canned food and guess what, it smells exactly like the meat loaf! I'm a convert! Even if it is not 100% meat, at least it smells and looks reasonable enough.
*
LOL... out of curiousity, are you married?

Sorry, can't stop myself to get out of topic laugh.gif

meat loaf is what?

buy baby pampers - get the size that matches her weight... hmm.gif but westie's have a tail and not a stump... perhaps you might need to cut a hole in the pampers?
how old is moonie? if she's on heat her private part will be swollen and there might be discharge. But if she is too young and is swollen there, it could be an infection. Not too sure about this bit though, wait for the rest to respond.

PS. Mami Poko works best for me.
*
When do I know the heat cycle finished?? Miki's on heat almost 2 weeks from the first day I saw blood stain on floor. Her there is swollen. How to see the period ended? When is it safe to bring my Miki go gaigai? Example the dog event rclxub.gif

Baby pampers? I cannot go out there and buy ONE, right? Yes, Moonie has a tail so I need to cut a hole in the pampers. She was born on 15th August (thus the name as its Mooncake Festival), so she's about 6 months now. I'm not sure if she is on heat but I'm just preparing. What's swollen? I mean how to I tell if it's swollen? I know swollen is bengkak but I dont really observe that part so I wont tell a difference.
I dont know. Casper does that too. I usually calls it run-run, a boost of energy he will sprint around the house but now he rarely does it. Mostly is tired and lazing around the house.
*
I also don't really observe my Miki there la.. but when it is swollen you really can notice. It is really big difference, dont have to look carefully. But it only starts to really show the big difference after 1-2 days after I saw blood stain on the floor.

iluv2zzz,
Are you refraining yourself from bringing your dog out when she is on heat? Any particular reason? Scared get unwanted attention from mongrels? Or are there any other reasons like private part infection from bacteria in the air, etc?

Sorry la, first time dog on heat. I need to know. If she really is, I am prepared to buy a bag of pampers to change for her everyday.
*
Actually I just scare she kena raped lol tongue.gif And also scare she go after other male laugh.gif

And she is tired, doesn't seems in mood in anything. Rest and sleep alot, not active, moody, sticky, dont want to eat... don't really want to play, just want to stay with you. "teh-bao...."

Actuaally how bad it might be, if we were to bring a female on heat.. for a walk? Strays will come and "attack" her? Or just tail her till the home and pee or hang around? If that's the case, it is not that dangerous to bring her out at all??

I brought my dog out for a walk to the next neighbourhood and got chased by 4 mongrels coming from all directions at a T-junction. Luckily a man came out from his car and threw me a stick. Fuhhhh... like Wong Fei Hong that time but then later stick also throw away. If any stray attack Moonie, only death awaits it. Hohohohoho.... Need to buy chastity belt liao.

Anyone knows anywhere I can find a secured heat pants?
*
You sure Moonie is on heat already?? hmm.gif

I actually bought the sample pack, (4 pieces in a pack) taking 4-6kg (S) babies, (forget the brand) and it does not fit sweat.gif sweat.gif I wonder if every brand has different sizes... have to buy M-size next time... but then, no use also nvm tongue.gif

What do you mean? I dont understand.

Baby diapers write the sizes according to babies weigh... example, my Miki is 6kg, so I buy within 6kg range. But somehow I get the 4-6kg is too small, have to go up one size, I think tongue.gif Get some sample pack to test if you are unsure.

siu wan is 5.5 kilos, so the small mami poko fits her well smile.gif
i like the velcro bits - diaper can easily be reused. pampers and pet pet have sticky plastic instead iirc, which can come off if you reuse them.

one of my hometown ex classmate saw me buying diapers and kepoh everyone back home that i have a baby doh.gif
*
Normal MamiPoko rite? Not Pants hoh? tongue.gif Pants easier to wear brows.gif
