QUOTE(mamril @ Sep 6 2007, 12:55 PM) Maybe you should talk your father into building a koi pond LOL.. or better yet, let me care for them in my newly built pond.... btw.. to diffrentiate gold and koi are easy... jz simply look into their pattern.. koi has more pattern than a gold fish, for eg : orange and white patches. my dad has been taking care of koi fishes for years. if i remember correctly before i go oversea, there are about 18+ of kois. some of them has been with me since i was small.
sadly some of them died when we move them to a bigger pond as we move our house. way to stress i guess haha nezumitaro, your pond not very deep right? |

QUOTE(nezumitaro @ Sep 10 2007, 03:57 PM) if deep enough, the fish will be more in balance in terms of body and beautiful. you wouldnt feel it is fat. deeper gives them more space to swim and exercise. i dont know how deep my dad's pond is, but as i recall it is at least around 7 - 8 ft. I wouldnt know haha since the shape of the pond already looks like an eight haha so maybe my dad make the pond with 8 ft deep for wealth fortune haha |

It takess 4-5 weeks to trigger. check your ph, ammonia, etc I would advise you to check more info on www.koi.com.my or www.koiphen.com Btw, bottom drain is a must for KOI pond though. Rgds |
