There is no interest rate cut yet at US...juz that US Fed officials hinted on another rate cut....which boosted investors confidence. I think the Fed Meeting will b on 11th dec...then v will know whether there will b surely a rate cut

I think as for KLCI, the +ve impact will continue 2mr as 2mr a big giant set to be listed in KLCI, Synergy-D (now known as Sime Darby Bhd). Its combination market capitalisation is almost RM13billion and analyst predict it will push KLCI up 20 or 30 points 2mr.

As for regional market...I guess there will continuous recovery in December, but still volatile, as everyone will be taking cue from US market, any bad news, everyone will be affected. AT least the 1st round bad financial reports are over...next round will b in January

My 2 cents

Looking forward for my SEA funds to outperform tomorrow smile.gif
The markets seem still fresh, outperforming China markets today.

That is because of Sime's relisting.
Most of the local funds are concentrated on Sime smile.gif

It should last a few days IMHO.
So, if you have local fund or funds with a lot of local exposure, you should gain.
My investor invested in PIDF last Monday, now almost made the return for my client smile.gif

Yeah, noticed that too. Local funds ruled the table tongue.gif
I am hoping for my SEA and Asia funds to gain another 1% is enough.
Should be able to recover most of my lost profits smile.gif

hie risky76, i've one question regarding this distribution. I thought funds only declare distributions during financial year end - which is once a year? What do you mean by "Interim" here? Sorry, newbie here blush.gif

Same goes to PFES. Distribution payout was done in May 31st, 2007.

Anybody could clarify this?

Wow ... 10 cents per unit for PITTIKIAL. That's a lot!

Yes, Normally distribution only will be paid during the financial year end of the fund. Interim distribution is sort of "special" distribution to us.
PIBF and PFEDF is normally year end distribution. Others will be special "BONUS" for all unit holder biggrin.gif

Well done PM fund manager .....

This one I can't be sure. I would guess it is a YES. It is still consider bonus, something like half year distribution, so it should be taxable.
