QUOTE(fylon @ Sep 24 2007, 03:07 PM) Lol.. Gt the same thinking as u do sang! Due that Real Power 550 only 75% efficiency max only 80%. Guess i take the iGreen 500W will do already. Since i were all pre sleeved. yeah .. that iGreen 500W already sleeved .. so it's look more nicer .. there u go .. the decison oredi made .. so don't have to pening2 kepala lagi ... guys..some update ... here my cpu oc result ... i still don't run stability test yet ... maybe my cpu hit the wall oredi ...
FSB = 250MHz ... running at 3.75GHz and Vcore set to 1.45V ... don't dare to up the vcore anymore ... ![]() Here the 1M superpi result ... ![]() after this i should test for ram oc according to guide given by overclockalbert ... or should run stability test first ti find the stability setting for cpu oc? |

QUOTE(fylon @ Sep 24 2007, 11:06 PM) Lol.. Google for Orthos that will be more better then SP2004 IMO.. Hm.. Its dpend on u. U might try change the ratio to 3:2 1st and see the sytem is boot able or not. If bootable then get into windows and run priming program. oredi download orthos and try running it at 250FSB but windows kindda stuck within1 minute By then, what is u idle and full load temp for 3.75Ghz? @kabukiawie 1.475 still ok aaa? hehe ... will try it later la bro .. wanna try that 3:2 divider first ... |

QUOTE(overclockalbert @ Sep 25 2007, 02:47 AM) 2-3-3-8 for sang-karim ram will not be possible i think as it's not the famous chipset in used. hehe .. 2.5-3-3-8 aa ... will try it toningt and try running prime95 first for stability test ... my kvr only with psc chipset and i think my oc won't go this high with 1:1 divider ... will try with 1:1 divider to look for highest ram oc ... hehe ... now i know how much fun doing this oc ... try 2.5-3-3-8 instead, maybe it can run. who knows. |

QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Sep 25 2007, 08:55 AM) @sang_karim so 2.5-3-3-6 is better than 2.5-3-3-8 aaa bro?? i don't really know bout this ram timing la ... i think running at cas2.5 shouldnt be a big problem as your ram is running at 200mhz, which is at ddr400. mostly value ram running at 2.5-4-4-8 but will do well in 2.5-3-3-6 |

KahLoon, about the 7600GT,i saw the Galaxy and Winfast one. Hehe, actually i'm eying on the Winfast brand. Both timing here won't give you boost unless you are using tighter one.For value RAM i think it's considered good to have such timing already. CL2.5 is hard to get sometimes. |

QUOTE(fylon @ Sep 25 2007, 10:49 AM) @sang owh...so our P4 prefer loosen timing that tight timing aaa?? but tight timing give faster ram speed rite?? why do we need loosen timing .. can someone explain to me? As albert says before, P4 system prefer loosen timing then tight. Dont get too tight for ya ram. |

QUOTE(fylon @ Sep 25 2007, 12:05 PM) Yea. Loosen timing give better response time. But somehow, tight timing were limiting u to reach high speed. As for my rigs, i need to loosen my ram to the loosen timing in order to reach 3.75Gh with 1:1 ratio. owh..like that ... tight timing will limit the ram to reach higher fsb ... so if wanna test for super pi better choose tight timing and if wanna go for higher fsb with 1:1 divider must go for loosen timing ... well, i'm learning something today bout tweaking ram ... hehe ... tq bro .. |

QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Sep 25 2007, 01:40 PM) tight timing still having its advantages la. just for 478 it does not gain more than amd in tight timing. so its recommended to get higher fsb and in order to get high, loosen timing is the way to go. yeah...i think i'll go find the highest speed for my cpu first ... i think its better than you push your rig with the loose timing to find the max speed then once it hit the wall, start tighten up timing to squeeze few more juice. correct me if i am wrong. |
