guys...need some help here....last nite i'm installing my new ST400 ... after spending time getting that psu inside my casing ... start pc and hardisk can be detected but can't load windows? does it means i should format my hardisk and install new windows? then another one ... when i slot 2 ram monitor won't display .. monitor light turn yellow ... after took off one ram .. monitor ok .. is it my ram is the problem? so blur la...

finally no need to format but oredi install windows again
 .. last nite when try to repair windows and can't boot at all, i've oredi install windows 5 times at my harddisk ... lost my old setting and need to install all the needed software again .. ... after all this setel can try torturing my rig with da new psu .. |

i think the problem that i face b4 is cause by the cable ... that what's make my hard disk won't boot ... and the other one ... the ram slot ... i think i can't run dual channel anymore
... only single channel for me now ... something wrong with the third ram slot ... if i put ram there .. monitor won't display .... isk .... too bad ... |

i'm reducing the fsb to 214Mhz and seems ok ... before upping the vcore n vdimm oredi priming at 214FSB for 1 1/2 hours and no prob ... when past 214FSB it's keep restarting ... is it the vcore n vdimm not enough juice?

ooo...at first just go set the vcore to 1.45V and vdimm 2.85v aaa?? i thought only raise that when oc got problem ... hehe ... if like that ... i'll go set that first la ... hehehe

oredi set the vcore to 2.45V and vdimm 2.85V at bios ... at cpuz vcore reading is 1.5V
... set the fsb rite now at 218MHz ... it restart after can boot windows ... now giving 2nd chance ... **system restart again ... reduce the fsb at 217MHz .. i geuss my system is not gud enough for oc la ... ... u guys set the dram frequency at 400MHz or auto in bios? when i set to auto it's give me 3:2 divider ... thanks for the advice ... i think my ram can't run 1:1 divider at higher frequency ... it's only kvr with psc chipset ... rite now i'm on 3:2 divider running at 3.3GHz ... will try ur method tomorrow la coz oredi late la .. wanna watch sum football...hehe ... thanks for u guide bro ...

guys....how to set the fsb:dram at 5:4? i will only get 3:2 when i set at auto .. when i set the dram frequency at 226MHz or 330Mhz it will run at 1:1 also but with different latency .. it's 2.5-3-3-6 ... so how aaa?

hmm ... maybe i will try to reset the cmos first la .... last nite oredi try with 226MHz and 330MHz DRAM Frequency but can't get 3:2 or 5:4 divider ... will check it later ...
btw ... the guide suggest by overclockalbert ... first try to oc the cpu first rite? what is the save vcore to if i want to fidn the highest speed of the proc untill it's reach the wall?  |
