yours perform better than mine. Mild oc on this mobo is not a problem. but to extreme really a nono. like >250fsb, high vdimm/vcore etc all quite hard on this mobo. what to do, cant aspect more than its price tag.

My rigs now stable at 2.903Ghz
but then when i increase it to 3.0Ghz, windows wont boot   Is there any chance for me to hit 3.0Ghz?

add a bit to vcore. now what vcore are you running at 2.9?? if your mobo able  to adjust the vagp, up a bit to 1.6V(correct me if i am wrong). then try it out again.

how about yours?? you have almost everything ready but not much progress. hmm....as you mentioned about the vcore and vagp, have you tried increase a bit?? for ram i dont think it hold you back as you not even touch the stock speed yet(if you are running at 1:1).

btw, whats the divider you are currently running?? if 4:5 then set it to 1:1. i think yours can go beyond 3ghz.

@pengster, your case might as well your ram not getting enuf vdimm.
try pump 2.85v and see how.

i think for northwood its safe push till 1.6v, for 2.7 vdimm its fine as it still operating below stock speed. i suspect that it lack of vcore at that speed. Just  my 2 cents.

i dibt think its too hot with the ultra90. whats the load temp??

Guys, bringing some news over. Guess will get back to the line within this week after i received my new system. Handing myself a P4P800SE and 2.8Gh Northwood.

as long as the temp wont exceed 55C then it should be fine IMO. if you are scare of overheat, make sure that it wont exceed 50C, then you still have some space to push.

p4p800se is not low profile la. its quite ocable. how about the 2.8E you mentioned before?? 3.0C also can oc to 3.6GHz coz of the 30cap helps.

Any suggestion for AGP graphic card that suitable for my P4 2.8Ghz & 1GB ram? Something that not will be bottleneck by my specs....

the funny thing is, when i run single channel with either 1 of the ram, it works, i can boot in windows at 2.7vdimm timing 2-3-3-7, but whenever i try to run dual channel, it cant boot windows, then if i try single channel with both ram, i can boot in windows but that also hv to restart a feew times with that configuration and when it log into windows also nt stable, prime wif sp2004 after 48min 1 proc fail (i run 2 sp2004, HT mah)

mmmm, mayb u ar right coz sometimes when i wanna restart wif dual channel, gt warning say system32 (some file missing - gt write the file name but i forgot ad)

btw, would my mobo and psu be the fault for this? coz my mobo max vdimm cn gv is 2.7V, cant go higher than that, normal vdimm 2.6V, if i add +0.2 or +0.3, the vdimm still shows at 2.6V, if i add 0.1V only cn gt 2.7V
then my psu also nt real power 1

Hi, I need some recommendation of heatsink fan for my P4 3.0HT processor. Now I know the fan noise is from the stock processor heatsink fan. I have a 8cm fan to suck out hot air at the back of my chassis but it's still noisy. I plan to change the heatsink fan for the processor so I need some advice from pro here. Any good quiet heatsink fan below RM150?

And 1 thing, is it easy to install?

i not using Si120 la, sang_karim is using it now. i use xp120. also a good hfs too.

The speed and the response of my computer is really slow now...
