QUOTE(fylon @ Sep 9 2007, 01:21 AM) @pengster if thats the case,500/800 should not be problem with the XT bios and Zalman cooler Haha.. Dare not to say will archived the speed that u mention. But can try to make it thou. Run on 450/750 before, and it was artifact less for the card, so i assume it can hit that speed. Well anyways, guys my new result.. Hit 3.75Ghz @ 3-4-4-8 timing. Gota lower then the timing to get this stable speed. Tried with 2.5-4-4-6 but unfortunately my system become not stable. Suddenly will restart. QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Sep 9 2007, 08:36 AM) is it worst than last time?? hmm.......but your 6800gt cant even touch 10k is quite weird. you ly down your casing like that all the time?? maybe try 3-3-3-6 if your ram wont run at c2.5. nice to see that you can proceed higher and higher. hehehe.... |

Just on all medium setting only.. yeah i've just upped my vdimm to 2.7v from the stock 2.6v and 1.535v for the vcore from the original 1.525v.eventhough its minimal,my cpu temp's quite hot.around 38c Lol.. Atleast u got 300mhz extra for stock volts ma.. Try pump in some vcore. I guess it should can help u get further. I pump mine until 1.485v eh.. QUOTE(colinwong89 @ Sep 13 2007, 02:16 AM) After several days of extensive testing, I have come to the verdict that my AI7 is severely limiting my overclock. My RAMs perform perfectly fine with 255MHz in Memtest86, but error pop up in less than a second in Prime95. hmm.isn't the AI7 a good oc-ing board? My board only has 1.65v max to the NB, so that's the real limiting factor. I can't find any mods for it downloading the movie now.will test it tomorrow. |

QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Oct 11 2007, 08:52 AM) i dont think it can get back to stock speed as the main part that hold me back it the vram. whats the problem actually? Ed, he want HT, 2.8ghz+, 800fsb la. mine only 2.4GHz, 533fsb, nonHT. if he want then it will be great. hoho....straight send to his shop. QUOTE(edministrator @ Oct 11 2007, 09:36 AM) nowadays, all these old school stuff are damn expensive.like those DDR1 rams and AGP cards etc QUOTE(fylon @ Oct 11 2007, 10:47 AM) Haha.. Just count.. If amd system, Pro + mobo + ram only 550.. If get 2nd hand s478 proc + mob at least need to spend 400.. Which 1 do u guy think? hmm.for me i'd go for a low end X2 rig.definitely will perform better than most P4 systems.QUOTE(kabukiawie @ Oct 11 2007, 02:46 PM) @fylon yeah the options are very limited.even my MSI Neo-2V has options of setting the vdimm to 3.3v and vagp to 1.8v.ok, for p4p800x---> no raid, low vcore(till 1.6v), low vdimm(2.68v), no performance PAT thing like what you will find in p4p800 mobo. other stuff is very standard. Pengster and raymond is also the owner of p4p800x. you can consult them as well. Conclusion, the mobo is just nice and stable if you use it at stock, and not too hardcore oc. i can quite guarentee that using 1:1 on 800fsb cpu wont go far, like mine is max 3.4GHz for 2.4A(1:1) and 2.8C(5:4). maybe you can eyeing for other option like abit board, is7 is quite a sweet board. so far the highest i managed with my P4P800x is 2.7Ghz from 2.4Ghz. p/s.whats the selling price of this mobo? |
