@fylon
hehe.....i am waiting~~ huhu.. just grab a new cmos bat la. for long term use ma.
i like northwood temp also. mine idle around 27C.

@ac_N1
nb = northbridge, it is the mobo temp. so yours is around 34C which is quite a nice temp.

i believe you are currently running at 168fsb. correct?? if i have your rig, i will push higher slowly till i cant load into windows. i think with additional vcore you can go beyond 170+fsb. When you hit the wall try increase tighten the ram timing like 2-3-3-6(but better loosen the timing if oc more than 185+fsb). My 2.4 can prime at 3.06GHz with 2-3-3-6. hope to see yours oc higher.

HT = HyperThreading. it means something like virtual dual core. so when you running multiple applications or applications that support multiprocessor, the workload is divided evently to 2 thread. you will have smoother experience with HT as the cpu load is lower.

try google information on it. but dont confuse with AMD's HT(hyperTransport)

Happy ocing.

@siong
the mobo that you are watching is SiS chipset. not p4p800. i dont know how well it perform.

Actually I'm running on 167FSB now. Wondering if my proc really can hit 185FSB
QUOTE(sang_karim @ Oct 24 2007, 09:38 AM)
is it safe to increase vcore that high?

It's safe! Cos the safe Vcore for 3.2C is 1.7V
QUOTE(shinjite @ Oct 24 2007, 04:25 PM)
yes 1.525V is default. 1.6V is just mild only in my terms.
ac_n1, you're using 2.4B eh? 3Ghz is easily reachable. Come to my gang, my previous record 2.4B@3.608Ghz

I'll be waiting

3.608Ghz

Thay will be 200FSB right? Ur proc is Northwood also? What type of cooling did u use? Let me know the Vcore, Vdimm and VAgp if u can remember
