ANy quick links on creting your own 'distro' using the retail dvd to add patches? most of them are like > 4.5GB, where do we et DVD-DL RWs ? whats the price for them?

Im not sure...i guess it does support though ive got a dell nb running iatkos4i at 10.5.5. So i guess it does support, have u tried kext in the efi partition method? that cld be the safest bet....all modified kext are in the partition and the os x parition remains vanilla.

will try that method when im free... 10.5.4 looks fine for me at the moment..

any extra performance on 10.5.5 ?

I see that ure using the ip35pro, im using the ip35-p, shld have the similar kext the only different is the ich9R for your mobo ip35-p is only ich9,if u want i can email you the kext so that u can try it out.

yeah, i can give u the image file of the kext needed for the bootcd. but you have to get your own retail leopard, u can get it from machines for ard rm500 if im not mistaken make sure to get the latest one.

Hi all...I'm newbie here bout Hackintosh... I've interesting about installing OSX on PC and make a triple boot (Vista, XP n soon Mac OSX)...already installing Vista n XP but not installing OSX yet...Currently using MSI p43 Neo3F mobo

Yup, certain mobo only could accept flashing to EFI. But the shop doesn't reveal it. Maybe afraid on license,or about 'business secret'..
But the clone could run retail mac os x, and also could be updated via software update, without kernel panic.

I think you should be able to upgrade to 10.5.4 without any problems, and since ure on 10.5.3 u dont need the combo update.

LOL, im having the same problem also, i`ll just manually change the time...doesnt bother me that much.

Delta updates are individual updates, combo update are updates that update the base version to the stated update.

i cant play avi file..should download newer version of quicktime? i tried downloading xvidcore..but seems like it doesnt work..

successfully installed ideneb 10.5.5 on my AMD... everything goes fine with the OS... but everytime i reboot/boot up my pc i got "keyboard error or no keyboard present"... need to reset BIOS everytime i need to start my pc... here's my pc spec :

Problem when doing installation .
Is quite hard ..no hv any version dvd can detect nforce MCP67 HDD .
need to inject nforce67 into dvd mkext.(dont  ask me how to do ...go go google u will find it how)
If only run nforce67 to detect hdd and dvdrom ..only dvdrom will read error ..hv to use other Pata kext
What hv to say is nid know how mod + edit to make it work

if u know how to inject ur mobo kext driver (sata and pata driver) on the dvd iso mkext  b4 burn  ..should be no problem to boot any distro.
just example...no much ppl can boot properly with iPC 10.5.6.....coz issue boot problem  so s*ck at Still waiting boot device
