Both Digi VoLTE and Digi VoWiFi is working on Mi 11 & Mi 11t

Finally done clean install of Android 12 on my Mi 11, it fixed all the previous issues I've had when I did a dirty upgrade

how to enable them?

First of all, run these codes on the Phone

VoLTE = *#*#86583#*#*

VoWiFi = *#*#869434#*#*

Then go to Settings > SIM cards & mobile networks > "SIM 1 or SIM 2" depending on where you install your SIM card > Enable "Use VoLTE" > Enable "Make calls using Wi-Fi"

Of course, this also depends on your telco. If you are using Digi, just call their helpline and convince them you're using one of the devices listed below and they will force their system to enable VoLTE
Once VoLTE is activated for your number, VoWiFi should be activated as well
*Digi didn't bother testing Xiaomi devices but VoLTE & VoWiFi works beautifully on my Mi 11 after I activated them

the Vo in VoLTE and VoWIFI stands for Voice Over...

VoLTE (Voice over LTE) will allow you to have voice call over LTE/ 4G. otherwise, when call comes in, your phone will drop to 3G (or is it 2.5/ Edge since 3G being shutdown) and will disrupt your data.

VoWifi allows you to make and receive calls via Wifi. If your telco signal is weak in your house but your phone is connected to WiFi and have good signal, you can then get good quality calls (supposedly),

VoLTE : Voice over LTE
Means it uses your data to make calls instead of 2G/3G GSM calls

If VoLTE is not activated, your data will drop to 2G/3G when you're making a call or when a call comes in and you will get disconnected from any games you're playing and get disconnected from conference calls (Zoom/Skype/Google Meet)
If VoLTE is activated, your data will stay on 4G/5G and calls will rely on your data so no dropped data connection kicking you out from a game/conference calls

VoWiFi : Voice over Wi-Fi

Same functionality as above with the added security of making/receiving calls through Wi-Fi where the audio quality will be very crips & clear even when your phone signal is only 1 - 2 bars

Hi is there a way we can limit the max charge of our mi 11 to like 80% instead of 100%? Like samsung's protect battery feature.

maybe manufacturers are already doing that to protect battery?

then again, for me, i prefer just gimme 100%. what is the point having big battery and then limiting it's use?

or maybe manufacturers will in future just say it's 4000mAh battery when it comes with 5000mAh. that way, already accounted for 80%. and when charged to 4000mAh, it shows 100%. or, maybe some will prefer charge till 5000mAh but show 80%?

my point is... i think this battery protect feature is kinda useless.

SIAOMI is really ridiculous. mi11ultra CN set still at DECEMBER 2021 patch

Global update also very slow, that's why I change to Samsung at least every month update and fix problem.

Can share what's the problem you faced so far?

Nearby share not available. I remember in miui 12.5 can use nearby share via Google Files.

Main camera 4K60 quality very bad when walking , moving the camera from left to right causes the image to jittery , blurry like the OIS is not working or the CPU cannot process the video recording.

Video recording the microphone can't pick up conversations from a few meters where I stand.

Dark mode not available in apps downloaded from Google Play.

Dark mode in Facebook & Google news is broken. When click external links , the next page is all in white mode.

Gallery video player. When a video is paused , always the wrong frame is paused. And the frame image quality is worst than the actual video quality.

Gallery video player. When wanna skip to certain parts of the video , the wrong frame is shown. Very annoying if you are trying to scroll through the video to the part you want to watch.

ALL THIS PROBLEMS DON'T HAPPEN TO MY SAMSUNG OR OPPO OR REALME. NO WONDER SAMSUNG CAN SELL S22 AT RM5899 AND STILL GOT PEOPLE BUY

Mi11ultra Microphone zoom during video recording only works when recording at 5x zoom if 1x zoom conversations from few meters away cannot be recorded. Weird problem.

Another issue. If start recording at 0.5x , cannot switch to 1x or 5x seamlessly. Must stop recording and switch manually to 1x or 5x. Samsung S21 ultra don't have this problem.

The funny thing is all this problems are never mentioned by all those fake & paid YouTube, Facebook, influences, reviewers. Only after buy ownself realised it. Too late liao. Haha. Wanna sell to instacash ? Worth rm1390 only. Rugi 2k ++. Crazy. Haha. Hehe. Hoho. Lmao.

Watching douyin for 1hr, the device heat up to 40c.

wanna ask... how is MIUI13/ Android 12? all ok? i'm still pushing back on the update coz read got issues.

but if just dark mode is the main pain point, then still ok for me.

So far no issue for me, can't feel any different in general or at least a deal-breaker to me. My device was default with CN ROM and I wipe my data after flashing global Miui 13 la... I read some comments saying some apps may not work properly if did not wipe the data but this should apply to people who change their ROM manually on their own.

My observation so far:
- Dark mode won't work on non-native/system apps anymore. But honestly, the dark mode doesn't work that well even back in Miui 12.5 where some texts are hardly visible.
- Didn't measure the temperature, but kinda feel it getting a bit hotter? But I'm using it without a case now (previously with a case) so that could be the root cause.

I don't extensively use my phone, things I do with my phone are quite basic like browsing Youtube, Facebook, Whatsapp, the internet, Apple Music direct output to a DAC with USB/LDAC, occasionally taking photos, and Android Auto for Google map/Waze.

So far my biggest issue is Android Auto will occasionally get disconnected but this happens even with MIUI 12.5.

Gotten mi 11t pro

The 120w max charge is super impressive.

I no longer need to worry about running out of juice even I did not charge it before I went to sleep.

A mere 5min charge can replenish almost 40%
