Finally some light at the end of the tunnel for xiaomi I guess?
Keyword: "Temporary"

On a different note, anyone able to find iMak Crystal Hard Case for Mi 11 yet?
Don't like soft silicone case, don't like case with bumpers or airbags

Always preferred iMak Crystal Hard Case over any other cases
It's a hard case, not too thick, no colors & no bumps anywhere

Hoping to get one before my phone arrives. If not, have to wait until the case is available for purchase before I can start using the phone sweat.gif

Wondering if this device does heat up easily
If this is true then I need to cancel my pre-order in Shopee sweat.gif

Nevermind, already cancel my pre-order in Shopee
Don't want to take the risk of buying overheating phone

Even my 2 YO Poco F1 with heatpipe already start to heat up with normal use nowadays, probably dried up thermal paste sweat.gif
Can't imagine the Mi 11 would fare any better

Skip mi 11
K40/K40 pro no heat issue n price cheaper
K40 & K40 PRO cannot be on my list. I need wireless charging

Want to get OnePlus 9, but after a bit of research, manually activating VoLTE on OnePlus is PITA sweat.gif

My Poco F1 crapped out at 6PM today so I had no choice but to bit the bullet and bought an 8GB/256GB unit for RM2769 (after Shopee coins redemption) sweat.gif

No trace of nails and handle some toys drop on it without any problem
Small items dropped on the screen protector, sure
But I'm more afraid if I accidentally dropped the phone on a hard surface, that original thin screen protector isn't gonna do anything sweat.gif

It's RM1199, you can figure out the answer to your question based solely on the price

I guess the AP set should be alot cheaper than local price. hmm.gif
At only RM100 ~ RM200 price difference, not worth the hassle
QUOTE(soulseeker6187 @ Mar 29 2021, 11:57 PM)
no problem. just flash global rom coz Chinese rom usually full of bloat.
Banking, Netflix, and tons of other apps won't work because you can't re-lock the bootloader or it'll brick the device

Problem solve after i change my keyboard to Microsoft SwiftKey.... Now can use it as normal.... BTW thank for the help..
Your issue is a really strange one
I'm using GBoard on my Mi 11 & I don't have this issue
And I don't see others complaining about this in the MIUI forum as well

Have you tried resetting the GBoard app?

I didnt. Im planning on buying import set of k40 pro, which is from china and using chinese rom. If i change it to global rom, is it ok?
K40 Pro doesn't have a global ROM

Just add a few more bucks to get the official Xiaomi Malaysia Mi 11 lah
You get 2 year warranty + 1 year screen protection

Guys, can share which tempered glass you're using on your Mi 11?
Bought one from Shopee but the touchscreen felt weird and the fingerprint scanner is less sensitive now, always cannot detect my fingerprint

Someone start selling 11 Ultra in shopee
RM4.7k for 8+256 cry.gif
At that price, might as well buy iPhone 12 Pro Max

Highly doubt Xiaomi Malaysia would actually sell the 11 Ultra above RM3.8K
