On a different note, anyone able to find iMak Crystal Hard Case for Mi 11 yet?
Don't like soft silicone case, don't like case with bumpers or airbags

Always preferred iMak Crystal Hard Case over any other cases
It's a hard case, not too thick, no colors & no bumps anywhere

Hoping to get one before my phone arrives. If not, have to wait until the case is available for purchase before I can start using the phone

If this is true then I need to cancel my pre-order in Shopee

But I'm more afraid if I accidentally dropped the phone on a hard surface, that original thin screen protector isn't gonna do anything

It's RM1199, you can figure out the answer to your question based solely on the price

At only RM100 ~ RM200 price difference, not worth the hassle
Banking, Netflix, and tons of other apps won't work because you can't re-lock the bootloader or it'll brick the device

Is your region set to Malaysia?
What about your keyboard language? Which language did you set?

Your issue is a really strange one
I'm using GBoard on my Mi 11 & I don't have this issue
And I don't see others complaining about this in the MIUI forum as well

Have you tried resetting the GBoard app?

Why would you want to use Chinese ROM?

K40 Pro doesn't have a global ROM

Just add a few more bucks to get the official Xiaomi Malaysia Mi 11 lah

Guys, can share which tempered glass you're using on your Mi 11?
Bought one from Shopee but the touchscreen felt weird and the fingerprint scanner is less sensitive now, always cannot detect my fingerprint

At that price, might as well buy iPhone 12 Pro Max

Highly doubt Xiaomi Malaysia would actually sell the 11 Ultra above RM3.8K
