Just wondering does Samsung having the same battery issues? Also, easily get slow after 2 years of usage? I've been Samsung fan since S1 and Note1 till 4-Series. But decided to avoid it after that due to battery and lagging issues.
*
I think this is due to the battery type they used , all note series even the latest note 20 used li-ion, li-po could be better (samsung start using from s20 series and s21 too) , my mate 20 pro li-po 2 n half years usage , 4200 mah 78% left now, no sudden shut down and it's consistently in fast charge . Ill pick Li-po phone anytime any day.

I'm surprised that this thread never go beyond 50 pages.. considering Mi 11 is a flagship model after all.. I guess forum is only for old timers to use it..

Nonetheless, I got myself Mi 11 to replace my Mi 8. Got myself the air purifier as well as the AIoT Premium Pack too (I'm not a dealer tongue.gif).

I can only compare with my previous Mi 8. Here is my simple review.

Battery: 3200 vs 4600
I guess the battery draining while playing game for both almost the same. After 100% charged, normal browsing and checking msg drop 1-2% only while doing my business in the toilet. For normal use, i guess Mi 11 can last whole day if you dont game

Sound: Harman Kardon
Louder than Mi 8 for sure and it got surround feel. The only minor issue is you will feel the vibration behind the phone when the sound is playing. Probably it is ok if you dont hold the phone.

Speaker for listening: Somehow the speaker is not place at the regular place like above the screen. Just need to get used to it.

Fingerprint on-screen scanner: Unlike Mi 8, you need to aim your finger on the screen to unlock the phone. Unlike Mi 8, you can actually feel the groove to scan your finger. Just need to get used to it.

120hz vs 60hz: not yet try 120hz..

Overheating: Warm is correct word.

I guess that is all about it first.. too early to complaint.. lol

I think the appetite for a flagship Mi phone is somewhat dampened by the fact that they are releasing so many value-for-money mid-rangers at less than half the price of their flagship phones. If you’re just a casual user in the market now for a Xiaomi, there’s the Redmi Note 10 Pro, Poco F3 and the Poco X3 Pro (if you don’t mind an LCD display) as very viable alternatives to the Mi 11 - and at much cheaper prices.

I used to own a Redmi Note 5 Plus and a Redmi Note 7, they’ve definitely made huge strides for the Redmi Note 10 Plus. Ordered mine from Lazada but still yet to receive it. It must be selling like hot cakes, haha..

Oh, and another thing, I bought my Mi 10 late last year at RM1,999 (plus another 10% coins cash back on Shopee) so another reason why many are holding back on the Mi 11 could be they are waiting once again for the steep discounts - like me smile.gif

Just now use Mi 11 Malaysia set played Asphalt 9 at 60fps for 45 min. Screen set at 1440p, 120hz refresh rate. After 20 minutes temperature already reached 42 celcius. But after 45 min the temperature between 42 to 43.4 celcius.
I was in a room without air cond. Only a small fan aiming towards me to keep me cool. Hot at hands? No. Warm? Yes. Of course. But other phones I used also similar feeling. The overheating claims are over exaggerated. If wanna see gaming test do let me know.
My whole point is....No overheating la tongue.gif

the overheating for high graphic games only. like genshin, black desert, etc. u can try those games, i think the temperature can raise up till 50degree or more

No. After a few hours of gaming, the SP is very good. No trace of nails and handle some toys drop on it without any problem. Just like oppo find x2 series SP

Small items dropped on the screen protector, sure
But I'm more afraid if I accidentally dropped the phone on a hard surface, that original thin screen protector isn't gonna do anything sweat.gif
