It has been a month since i used tinder platinum
before subscription
barely get any matches at all, maybe 2 matches in a day if lucky.

after subscription
on average, i get around 5 matches per day within 2 weeks, on the first few days i got around 10+ matches without boosting.

*every normal swipe you swiped may be prioritized on their profiles (as you know, girls usually get bored after 10-20 swipings, cause every guy they swipe may instantly matched)
*send a message before superlike (it will work typically your initially message is polarizing or humurous)

today before 12pm
i got 3 matches within 10 minutes, ain't sure about how the algorithm works
i used a 30 min boost last day, i had 6 matches including two trans

*if the women are constantly replying you, your score will go up, as the result you may get matches at the moment, so please do not spam messaging on girls who never reply you*

p/s: i had 6 pictures, 2 out of 6 are short videos (it can be as added advantage if your quality of photo sucked or you don't have travel photos)

There are ALOT of scammers in Tinder.

Here are some of the hints that a profile might be a scammer.

1. Mostly, if not always, use Chinese girl photo.

2. Usually use English name like Anna

3. If matched, will tell you that "she" is living in Singapore or China and running their own business.

4. If living in Malaysia, will immediately ask you for meetup at a place of her choice.

5. Nothing on their profile bio except Wechat or LINE ID.

6. poor, blurry picture

7. without bio, or bio that only shares instagram id (check also their instagram whether it's legit)

8. the way they reply is either few words answer, and you may sense something's OFF by the way they reply you

But i guess it's also quality that you'll want, apart from quantity. Any luck so far?

#4 - if they actually meet up, would it be scamming at a bar? asking for money. Recall someone mentioned that in CC before.

usually if my profile is not strong, the system will not expose to me to more quality prettier girls
most i matched have been cute, maybe im lucky i will match with a below average looking girl she will turn out to be pretty on dates.
i'm going on a date this saturday's with a fun slender hot amoi because i used the 'message before superlike' feature, she noticed me.

other apps i noticed and used
wechat (it has been dead, not a lot of pretty amois there)
bumble
instagram dms (went out with 5 girls? very tough luck if you don't have blue check mark)
CMB (went out with few dates, mostly are professionals)
Tantan (has been dead, went out with more than 50 dates in 2019)
facebook dating (works similar with tantan, matched with a lot during the time)
Omi (mostly malay girls, matched a few, havent gone out with any i guess)

I also would like to add my experience on detecting a scam. Hope there is no dupes.

1) Too good to be true. Like suddenly this hot girl very nice to you, try to talk you. Well, when have this, firstly i think better be realistic and ask yourself whether your profile could attract those type of girl. Further, screenshot their profile picture and do a google image search in google as well as china equivalent google for image search too.

2) if you somehow think that you got chance for this hot girl, try give her a week and see how... Their SOP is unleash their product (eg. bitcoin platform) around 4-5 days..

3) instagram girl or FB girl who wants followers, usually dont talk or their profile description usually put their IG (their IG sometime has 50 post but mre than 1,000 followers) or FB and not active. TBH, i dunno whether this is consider a scam, but i feel shouldnt waste time on this kind... Unless you are rich or you damn handsome, or both..

To protect yourself, if lets say too sudden, like want to hang immediately, suggest you tell your friend where you heading, and propose a place that is crowded.

And another step to further protect yourself and not wasting time which I DONT RECOMMENDED AT ALL, stalk the shit out of the person to ensure he/she is single , legit and not a catfish. A google search, including linkedin fb instagram twitter would do.

ive encountered more time wasters instead, usually
(a) they dont respond you after you initiate more than 3 times text
(b) the interaction never goes anywhere, they're never intended to go off the apps.
© you got them off the apps, they gave you their digit, but you'll never able to ask them out or they kept declining your call

the dating apps mostly are designed to hook up first, usually if my pics are passable and she likes my texts, maybe we'll text back and forth 20 times, we'll probably make a short call on whatsapp and make the date ASAP.

Posting in legendary thread. Anyway, will park here to find out which app gives out the most response as I have tried majority app and still no luck. Could be face problem.. sigh

If you think you've average photos, give yourself a chance to subscribe its mandatory to stand out. Use boosts, swipe more often if you can.

I have read that once u subscribe bots will come and match with u to make u think ur money is worth being spend. I also see that especially tinder charges quite heavily for the additional features

tinder platinum for me is around rm50 per month, wdym by heavily? Coffee meet bagel I'll agree its subscription is more expensive. Ive matched with ladyboys or trans when opened boost. Who cares that much? Its numbers game.

Lol from my experience, I'm having tough time on Tinder too. Too many scammers. Even some matches are doubtful (from the way they reply my messages) which made me unmatched them too.

So much win there.
Actually app creators should come out with something that doesn't have any photo. Options based on location, but matching ie. through interest, hobbies etc.

There will be no judgment or bias, and users can approach each other with a more open mind. If users themselves wanna DM their photo, they can do that.

Look around you - there could be options too ie. ex college mates, friend's friend/ sister(s), gym (if you go) etc

Fundamentally, its initially about look. If the guy or woman is obese you would be turned off by that. Everything is fast online, thats how people make money (mostly). The reason why the love classified section here has been dead is the same concept.

Yes and no. That's why if there's an app that doesn't contain photos but more for personality to shine, I'd say it's more genuine because people can get to know each other better. You'll know the other party is genuine when he/she can look past 'appearance' and care about what's inside more.

I'd say Love Classified still survives although a lot of people has gone on app. There are still postings and correspondence as far as i know. I'd call it "dead" only if there's no activity for at least a year or more.

Tinder quality has dropped... many fake profile (PRC), bots, trans, selling service & girls with their bio of not interest to date

Thats why i don want to take the risk of spending RM50 and receiving this kinda search results. Hoping there will be a better app like CMB but with a cheaper price tag eg: RM50

i played like 8 different apps at the same time, i don't think CMB is going to reduce its price soon lol
and i don't think the quality of chick there justifies that price. Obviously ive met hotter body indonesian chick at facebook dating too (FREE)
