I have friend top up RM 30k just for the badge and slightly better engine performance (reliability xtau lagi) when he bought his car recently.

Ppl were expecting X50 to be sold at this price range, but kena upcar by CCP.

X50 difficult to sell at this price range la... So many tech missing in this Ativa.

Unless X50 cut down: sunroof which is useless, driver power seat, remote start engine and proton-link features, in-car wifi, rear air-cond, use all hard plastic, cheap leather seat, auto parking features then it is possible to price at that range for top spec.

19km/l is tempting

X50 will probably be fine because of the difference in price and a lot of comfort+convenience features are skimped in the Ativa that Proton offers.

If anything, the Japanese B-segment sedans/hatchbacks will have their sales stolen once this arrives.

my 10 years inspira 2L easy can 15km/L on highway . 6.7L/100km consistently .

X70 CKD version like shit the comfort.

Sat in one high spec colleague's one. No difference from Bezza in rear seat. Also not much legroom. Leather also hot like want to satay grill your azz after parking under sun that doesn't happen in my older Toyota.
