Nowadays no need to ask which variant got update. As long as one of the variant got update, the whole series will get the update at the same time. It's been like that since S20 series.

I still remember the past where people keep condemning Samsung for their slow update. Now is different. Samsung is becoming no. 1 when it comes to update. So you ask, how about xiaomi and oneplus? Both of these 2 are getting worse. My mi10 will only get update once per 3 or 4 months. My oneplus 7 pro is still on Android 10. I can see some people still praise on those china brands on their respective threads, and some of them even believe that Samsung is still slow these days. Haha. Jokes on them.

This is also the biggest reason why I always come back to Samsung, even though I knew they have some weak points. But at least they are keep improving. Heck. They even bring the new features of new phone down to the older generations (for example, S20 series will get S21 series new camera features very soon). Let me ask you, how many brand will do that on their old phones?Meanwhile, xiaomi and oneplus are stepping backward. They will ditch your device once new phone comes out.

Ok. Enough for the ranting. Back to my S21+ and start downloading the update.

I totally agree with you bro. Samsung is way better in providing updates efficiently these days, a far cry from OnePLus and Xiaomi. I also have OP8 Pro which only gets an update every 2 months for a flagship phone while my Xiaomi MI10 is every 3 - 4 months like you mentioned. While Samsung lagged behind in software updates a few years ago, that's not the case now

I just came back to Samsung after trying out the POCO F2 Pro and the Oneplus 7t before that.

IMHO, yes. Samsung is worth its price until Google's Pixel is available in Malaysia officially.

If you want to rock Android, Samsung is it for me.

i'm samsung note user for so long time , but the price now getting higher and higher , u pay rm4k - 5k for a phone to get 3-5 year updated is reasonable

while xiaomi phone mostly below rm2k to get 2 year updated is more than enough ,

so most of xiaomi user will change phone more frequently i think

My POCO X3 NFC gets update once every 3 months lol. It's not even a 6 months old phone yet. Xiaomi's update is so slow and not consistent. Not buying a Xiaomi phone anymore although it looks good on paper.

Try to clear cache partition? This update is quite a big update, maybe it needs few more days to settle down.

Thanks for all your replies and advise. Looks like Samsung still strong. But the sd870 on POCO F3 is so attractive. But I only managed to get 6GB.

Panafone, your F2 Pro 6GB or 8GB? Is 6GB good enough on Poco? I play some game like Tennis Clash / Alphaut.

Also never forget, Samsung provides many good feature, S-PEN, Dex, Windows Link... I believe only Huawei can compete with it.

this is what i always pratice since note5 , note 8 , note 9 , note10 , but somehow , exynos stil exynos , maybe those upgrade is more suitable for SD chipset , sorry to say i already leave samsung this year and go for xiaomi snapdragon 8 series brows.gif

i'm now more to gaming , so the camera , spen , no need anymore as now whatsap , messenger they already provide very good drawing feature , summore nowaday can use screen recorder with voice easily , no need the spen anymore

what i miss from samsung to xiaomi is the Pin to screen feature , but i love the xiaomi for zero lagging and very near to stock android , maybe will turn back after note 21 come out? but for sure that time will hunt for SD import set but not the exynos

or maybe exynos will co-operation with AMD with better chip? who know in future right hehe , but i stil prefer the SD currently , it stable and snappy in every aspect

it actually depend what u need & want , if u are gamer , then Poco F3 definitely a good choice , the Poco f3 camera and video is sux to the max if compare to samsung phone

i'm using xiaomi 10T now with better camera tha poco F3 , some how i stil feel my samsung note9 and note10 blow far away xiaomi for the picture and video quality , no doubt samsung photo / video stil top class , can't compare

another person who are CEO / Manager who always need some presentation , for sure the samsung dex can solve all ur problem without need laptop

so at the end it stil come down to user need

Yeap but have to make sure reconfigure after installing

Remember not to configure when fingers are super dry

Configure after washing your hands and dry with a towel laugh.gif

So your fingers are still slightly damp

I find this works best cuz even on dry fingers i can unlock (not super dry fingers tho. Its normal)

Its rm79
