Ancient Cities. Many backed the game in kickstarters years back.. Quite alot of people look forward for the release too including me. But when the game is released, one word, disappointing. 
The one im referring to is Star Citizen.$400m gone into ''Development".

Such methods of generating crowdfunded revenue have however led to criticisms and legal issues surrounding the project. In addition to crowdfunding, marketing[8] is now also funded through external investment having received US$63.25 million as of March 2020.[I]
Squadron 42, a single-player game set in the same universe, was initially announced in the Kickstarter as an included campaign in Star Citizen, but is now intended to be a standalone product. The player character's performance in Squadron 42 will reportedly have an impact on their career in Star Citizen.[9]
