World Level 8 testing on Level 88 Stonehide Lawachurl. Wanderer set, without resonance or other buffs:

Level 11 Talent(with Childe), Amos Bow.
18k + 31k.

Level 10 Talent, Amos Bow.
17k + 29k.

13k + 22k.

Ideally the best ratio is indeed 1:2, but normally you build up your crit rate first(weapon, sub stats, ascension) and see whether it will reach more than 50% rate, if yes then only go for crit dmg helm. Not the other way around.

Someone is flexing abyss namecard with World Level 1 & AR24

Checked ingame and it's legit, not sure how he did it.

Not just 8-3, the banner indicates that he cleared 12-3 before.

Domains(5 stars artifact, talent & weapon ascension material) are not unlocked until AR 3x. That means he cleared 12-3 with Level 40 chars, Level 1 first talent, Level 4 for elemental skill and burst talent, level 40 weapon, and no 5 stars artifacts.

Chongyun Elemental Skill(E) will overwrite Keqing's physical/electro damage, causing her Physical/Electro DMG goblet bonus useless. Whereas Kaeya's E and Q can be more easy and precise to proc superconduct, without interfering with Keqing's physical/electro atks.

Chongyun's Elemental Skill affects both physical AND electro melee normal attack, but does not affect Pyro normal attack.

For example Keqing Elemental Skill infuses electro to her normal attack, then Chongyun Elemental Skill converts her electro normal attack to cryo normal attack. Whereas Diluc's Elemental Burst will infuse his normal attack to pyro, but Chonyun's Elemental Skill's cryo won't overwrite Diluc's pyro infusion.

Skyward is her best-in-slot weapon.

But in the future you might want to pass down Skyward to other DPS bow character. So you can consider levelling up Windblume now if you don't have Stringless(R1 Stringless > R5 Windblume).

Recycling all daily spawning artifact fodders + drops from overworld elites will give you around 50-60k each day, which can get with just 20 resin. While artifact fodders are hard to come by.

If you are running out of Mora might as well just farm some gold leylines. I've been farming leylines for a few weeks now in preparation for the future content. So that when the 2 new artifact sets rollout I can focus all resins on them and not worry about talents mats, exp book and mora.

I don't see why not, EXP books and Mora are never enough. Talents Book, artifacts and acension mats will be obsolete as the game progress and releasing more new chars, but EXP books and Mora will not. I'd suggest spending all daily Original Resin(160) on this event, and reserve Fragile Resin for other more worthy future events.

You can solo the event, don't have to co-op. Plus you will manage to get 45 Companion EXP for all your 4 chars when solo. Bring in your best squad, finish up the boss, then redeem with team comp that needs the Companion EXP.

Monster Level 70+ you need to start familiar with Elemental counters. Don't force yourself to comes up with those popular Elemental Resonance team(2x Pyro, 2x Geo etc). Instead, fill them with diverse elements and roles. Eg: Brings 1 Pyro, 1 Water and 1 Ice. Then the last slot can be either Geo, Wind or Electro. I prefer Geo. Then if possible have the team consist of at least 1 bow and 1 claymore and that will make your gameplay even more friendly.

Use Pyro to break Ice & Wooden Shield (Cryo Slime, Cryo Abyss Mage, Cryo Cincin Mages, Cryo Fatty Fatui, Cryo Whopperflowers, Wooden Shield Hilichurls)
Use Hydro to break Pyro Slime, Pyro Abyss Mages, Pyro Fatui Gunner, Pyro Fatui Agents and Pyro Whopperflowers.
Use Cryo to freeze Hydro Abyss Mage and break Purple Hammer Fatui shield.
Use Geo , Claymore or Overload(Pyro+Electro) to break and stun Geo Slime, Geo Fatui Gunner and Geo Giant Lawachurl.

Do it, with the new update you can lower it back to WL7 anyway, if you ever feel that you're not ready.
But don't be afraid, it's actually not that much harder than some claimed. In fact, most players are complaining that the game is too easy now.


Try solo domains like Cecelia and Fire Crimson Witch domain at highest level, if you can clear them then WL8 overworld will be a piece of cake for you. Overworld creatures are a lot easier than these domains because there are no debuffs.

Bad at dodging? Better try aim for Zhongli instead of Diluc. And if the leaks are true then 4* YanFei in the same banner will be a good pyro DPS. Win-win for you.

Replace Razor/Xiao from your current team comp, don't have them both in the same team.

You can try Mona Bennet Xiao Sucrose/Anemo MC(energy recharge build). Mona & Bennet to break elemental shield and boost Xiao dmg output, Sucrose/Anemo MC to recharge Xiao's burst.

Or Mona Bennet Razor Chongyun/Kaeya/Diona(low level will do). Mona & Bennet to break elemental shield, Chongyun/Kaeya/Diona to proc Superconduct for Razor and break electro shield.
