QUOTE(LegendLee @ Dec 23 2023, 10:46 PM) Customer service, at worst you piss off a few customers. Sorry to burst your bubble but used gacha accounts ain't valued highly on the market. Even a Genshin account with each featured 5* character at C6 might only fetch around RM1-2k at best. While it's true that getting a single C6 character through primogems could cost RM4-8k, the resale value drops significantly.Maybe only 1% of players would actually contact the customer service? But prices are a different story. This will affect everyone. Especially when you remove the gacha (gambling) element, the threshold someone would actually spend on a game is much lower. A lot of players are still primarily playing this on a phone or a potato computer. RM 1.8k is nearly the price of PS5. Rm2.4k can buy a entry level computer. Those players will likely just leave the game if it was that price. And I'll be selling my account for Rm100k and that would actually be a good deal for whoever who is buying it lol. Same goes for non-C6 5* characters. They don't usually add much value to an account, maybe RM100 for each extra constellation. So, even if someone's splurged over RM100k in-game over 3 years to get 10+ C6 5* characters, they might still have trouble selling their account for more than RM15k π And if the CCCP implements those stricter gacha rules? I'm seeing another 30-50% drop in value, easy. |

QUOTE(Si kutu rayau @ Dec 23 2023, 10:29 PM) You think they care ah? HYV will appoint a dedicated CS for players that spend more than RM50k in a short time if you play in the China server.Basically the way they talk are you tak suka you..... In a extreme polite way. While players in other servers are just too insignificant in HYV eyes, doesn't matter how much you spend also won't have a dedicated CS one. |

QUOTE(Coldf3ar @ Jan 4 2024, 07:27 PM) Genshin is a decent game with some caveats. You won't find a vast amount of traditional MMORPG elements in this game, think of it like J-ARPG with ongoing live services. It's a free-to-play game, anytime is a good time to start. MMORPG elements present: β Open-world exploration. β RPG character and gear progression. β Optional co-op. You can explore with friends, but can't progress the quest together. Also doesn't have any bonus benefits for co-op. You will be likely playing the game by yourself 99% of the time. β Gathering materials, crafting gears, cooking consumables and house building. β Have mini-games like Trading Card Games. The not-so MMO: β Gacha system to unlock new characters and weapon π΅π΅π΅. While the base game is free and all contents and characters are obtainable without any spending, it can be very expensive if you ever you succumb to the gambling mechanic. β Progression is locked behind 'resin', an energy point that serves as a gating mechanic for activities which reap valuable rewards like ascension materials, weapon upgrade materials, game currency and EXP points. Resin regenerates 1 point every 8 minutes and you can only hold a maximum of 160 Resin at a time. So it's essential to spend it regularly to avoid reaching the cap and wasting potential rewards. |

QUOTE(MerryGoRound^2 @ Apr 23 2024, 12:00 AM) ![]() For your reference. Taking baseline 50% confidence, it's around there ba. Maybe Hoyo knows you whale, so purposely rigged your gacha system kek. QUOTE(Si kutu rayau @ Apr 22 2024, 11:36 PM) That is considering you win all 50/50 at the character banner and also win all those epitomized whatever shit it is at weapon banner right? Luckiest or unluckiest? Cause 1300 pulls is what it takes to reach C6R5 (13x110=1320) on average. You're on the unlucky side if 1300 pulls are your 'luckiest' among all the C6 you pull. Take mine as an example, most of my C6 were obtained within 400-650 pulls (way lower than the expected value of 770), while the unluckiest one required around 750-850 pulls. As someone who went so extreme few times before I tell you ada susah oh... Anyway, wish you best luck. I still not sure wanna draw or not. Probably skip eh. As you mentioned the baseline is around there so I need to chooses wisely which waifu to splurge since I also at 1.3k draws now. But so far as I remember even the luckiest C6R5 I did was more than 1300 draws. |

QUOTE(LegendLee @ May 28 2024, 10:30 PM) Finally beat the seahorse. ![]() It's really tough to get Platinum for this event. I had to use 1. Food 2. Broken subdps such as Furina C2 3. High damage DPS such as C3 Raiden, C1 Neuvilette and C1 Arlecchino ![]() Grats. I skipped Neuvilette, and Furina stays at C0. I was already content with it, but this event baited me so hard that I'm now thinking of skipping Clorinde and going for C2 Furina. Do you feel your C2 Furina was worth the pull? Do you still pair a healer with her at C2, or do you switch to her healing mode between rotations? Have 450 pulls left but trying to save at least 300 of them for Nathlan. |

QUOTE(dennis008 @ Jun 5 2024, 11:45 AM) I'm a returning player after a year-long hiatus. Should I go for Alhaitham or Clorinde? I don't have any good Dendro characters, but I do have Yae Miko and Raiden Shogun. Wouldn't getting Clorinde be kind of redundant? High Priority ---------------------------------------------> Low PriorityC0 Nahida > C0 Furina(next banner) > C0 Alhaitham > C0 Clorinde |

Resin cap has increased to 200, and the maximum number of EXP books you can hold has increased from 9,999 to 99,999! π

QUOTE(LegendLee @ Jan 1 2025, 04:10 PM) Mavuika's burst cooldown is 18 seconds though. TTDS is good for screenshot DPS, but Sacrificial is much more comfortable to play with as it provides 100% burst uptime, increased Cryo application, and a stronger shield. With TTDS, you end up with useless HP% main stats and need ER sands.TTDS cooldown is 20 seconds. Seems to line up well. I've not levelled Mavuika up yet though, I will need to test her with various team comps. That said, I pair her with Prototype Amber, just like my other catalyst chars |

QUOTE(Oblah @ Jan 16 2025, 06:39 PM) Feel the same. It can be easy for some to just ignore top level rewards thinking it's just 1-2 pulls worth. Because both games have experienced a significant drop in popularity, developers feel compelled to push powercreep more aggressively. When the games are thriving and consistently attracting a large influx of new players, there is less pressure to introduce drastic powercreep. However, as interest declines and the influx of new players stagnates, developers are forced to increase the incentive to pull for new characters to sustain revenue. But the harshest part is seeing the characters you spent so long investing in becoming irrelevant and no longer being able to clear end game content comfortably. Vertical investment also feels not worth it since you might as well pull the shiny new character who does better at low investment. I abandoned my plans for C2 Raiden already. She now my hyperbloom trigger lol. I thought Fontaine would be the region to screw players over with forced gimmicks in bosses but the Ousia Pneuma thing ended up not mattering much (which is great for older characters). Natlan on the other hand, I especially hate their gimmicky bosses, especially the flower. Basically Hoyo strongly pushing players to pull or be left out. HSR already players getting unhappy with how fast characters are being powercrept. Sparkle being powercrept after just one rerun was especially painful for me. |
