1 forummer say can’t 1 forummer say can.
How?
1 is a Financial Advisor Representative, 1 is a ex GE agent.
Who to listen to?
I think both is correct ?
not so sure about GE but for prudential have something quite similar.
If you hold a very ancient standalone medical card and wish to upgrade to a better card.
Technically the system cannot do so , you have to purchase a new ILP plan and terminate the old card.
which is like that lifebalance said not possible to upgrade by default as we cannot assign new card to old card policy.
But it happen before some auntie insists want to upgrade don't want to terminate , or they dont want that ILP thingy but want the million dollar limit card.
It is actually possible and treated as
special case but via a term called
replacement card/transfer card and need to be done manually.
also the process of getting commission from such case also quite troublesome and very manual , need to email hq for processing.
which is like what denion said it is possible but via replacement , the procedure is very difference and lots of work to do.
