Bake cake -> hand mixer can?

Can also. But then you cannot do anything else while mixing the batter if you use hand mixer. I use stand mixer + hand blender (for beating egg white) to multitask while baking.

Ayam thinking about the space, small kitchen ma. Hand mixer save space but hand will be tired. Saw some 200w, 300w ones. Cheap cheap below rm100, got no juta-juta to spend like TS.

Still browsing, undecided on brands and price.

Kenwood cheaper but the attachment expensive
Seriously should consider those rm400 lazada one. Not much difference

Make sure you get one with a 1000W motor (minimum), especially if kneading bread dough. Otherwise the motor will heat up quickly and boom, hahahaha. At the end of the day, you get what you pay for. Kenwood = functional, quality and reliability. Looks, meh. Smeg = classic look, french Citroen/Renault quality (pun intended)
KitchenAid = Instagramable. Maybe quality and reliability but pricy.

If you only bake once in a while, hand mixer should be fine. But if you bake once a week or more often, you should invest in a good stand mixer. Stand mixer other than kenwood & kitchen aid also fine if only for baking cake. You don’t need powerful motor for creaming butter or whipping cream or egg whites.

Powerful motor is only needed when kneading dough.

Correct

I have a kenwood major with a 6.7L bowl.
It is a big and heavy machine.
Whenever want to use, need to take it out from deep inside my kitchen cabinet.
After use need to put it back deep inside the cabinet.

Sometimes I rather use a hand mixer.
Less troublesome.

I vote for kitchenaid cos my wife uses one for years and years and it’s super reliable. Now we even use to make ban mian and pasta using pasta attachments.

Kitchenaid look really timeless in the kitchen especially red color.

Kenwood look like industrial design for people no taste.
