go to sonyericsson web, look for the sony ericsson update service...must have the PC suite installed in your PC first

but Gdesk not very useful.... is just a program cover up the desktop.... and graphic design not sharp....

i wonder why m600 and p1 come with it.. but p990 dont hv it...

i check my firmware.......it's old...latest it rp9ga001, so i install update service software that i get from the web...that it mention that my firmware wuz already the latest n no need to update......emm

how much does it cost to update service at shop?

Last time I asked how much for flashing my P990i firmware for chinese writing, it's abt RM30.

i wonder why when i use update services from sony erricson software...that appn said my hp doesn't need updates

to all sifu,i need a little help.before i can backup my P990i using backup manager.but yesterdcay i try to back up but failed.it shows mobile phone not responding.and i didn't set the maximum numbers for backup,and i reinstall the PC suite already also cannot;-(can anyone help me???

wat i meant is...my phone firmware wasn't latest...but if i update using UPDATE SERVICE that i download from SE web....it shows no need update....meant firmware from SE website not the latest one lorrr....

first... ur cda is singapore version because have a /8 ... and i already help u check the latest cda for singapore version... ur phone version is the lastest... unless u flash to /1 or /2 which is worldgeneric version... then u able to update to the most latest which is R9GA001

hi just wanna ask. I plan to get the P990i ap since the price very cheap now. Do anyone get their P990i from any shop around usj or subang area?? i wan reliable shop. Yesterday was at KL central, saw the shop V.V group. The price was ok but the warranty even though 1.5 years but never cover lcd even for 1 mth. So very risky to buy for me. Please suggest. Thanks

these days LCD problems are quite rare. i've used many AP sets before. all are okay, including P990i.

u might wanna get it from our LYN sellers like Renee & a few others. they are quite reliable & trustable. provide good service too. good luck.

try to get a CSL AP set. 1 year warranty for LCD.

dude... i really not recommend u buy p990 because a lot problem and bugs even SE development team also give up for this phone, i feel regret and dissapointed wat SE did... u can google it first b4 u make a final decision.

if 2nd hand (rm6-700) can go for a try.

if having tight budget, p990i is worth the penny for its 2.8' display,2mp AF cam and its solid design. I stil love its outlook compare to P1.

Yup. Seriously I think the P1i is fugly compared to P990i.
