QUOTE(loveylynn @ Jan 22 2021, 12:02 PM) Hey guys! If wana buy S21 ultra 16GB RAM version, so telco is out. Buying from Samsung directly or Sengheng would be a better option? In kind of a dilemma here. I like the extra warranty from Sengheng but hate the service there if u dont like the service aat senheng then u can extend youre warranty at samsung also bro... |

QUOTE(katrina8080 @ Jan 22 2021, 04:50 AM) S21 Ultra Battery Drain Test. Looks good. Performance on par with rach other. There is a Chinese video which is comparing both Snapdragon 888 and Exynos 2100 version of S21u. Battery management SD888 better Heat issue probably is due to samsung phone heat dissipation. (Note20U SD865 higher temp but also not bad la) is Don't know why SD 888 can play games at higher settings than exynos 2100. Probably is optimisation ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by ghoss: Jan 22 2021, 12:30 PM |

QUOTE(Max2006 @ Jan 22 2021, 11:44 AM) Watch many videos/reviews, here's my verdict. Totally out of surprise S20 getting positive review Yes. Both SD888 and Exynos 2100 have overheating issue. Yes, SD888 is better than Exynos 2100 in term of GPU performance. When overheating, both chip performance would be throttled until same level. But Exynos 2100 is slightly cooler than SD888. S21 SD has better battery life compared to S21 exynos (expected). S21 suitable for people who love compact phone, S21+ suitable for people who prefer long battery life. S21 Ultra suitable for people who love to play with the camera setting QUOTE(attw @ Jan 22 2021, 12:58 PM) Bro if you still want a S20 Ultra it’ll go for RM3450 in two days’ time No thanks https://s.lazada.com.my/s.cNVbl |

QUOTE(anwarmatlani @ Jan 22 2021, 12:11 PM) Except if you need the S-pen (built in), no reason to pick N20U.Also, since N20U is launched a year earlier than S21, it’s likely to get one year less OS updates by the end. Samsung’s new policy suppose to give 3 years OS updates, depending on what’s the stock Android version it’s launched with. N20U launched with android10, while S21U launched with android11. QUOTE(XeactorZ @ Jan 22 2021, 01:12 PM) Mainly because of the game performance of SD865. One word, Stability! From now on, I can see some people start moving towards to S20Fe 5G. Can't blame them. Snapdragon is still the champion eventhough it's the last year gen.QUOTE(nncchh1990 @ Jan 22 2021, 01:16 PM) Please post review after you use the protective cover. I am interested on that covber. Thanks.QUOTE(msacras @ Jan 22 2021, 01:21 PM) That’s a notable different between battery life. This makes me wonder as well. I know the SD GPU performance is better, but the battery life gap seems out of that proportion. Not that Exynos S21 is bad, but how do SD S21 manage to squeeze so much more battery life than Exynos did? I know Samsung manufactured both chipsets. But how about the design? SD888 should be designed by Snapdragon, right? While Exynos 2100 was designed by Samsung. So no matter how suck the SD888 is, its power efficiency is still better compared to Exynos2100. Anyway, I am not dissappointed about this. At least Exynos 2100 is better than exynos 990, by a large margin. However, we need to accept the fact that Exynos will never be able to beat down Snapdragon, at least for now. Samsung still got a long way to go..... |

I think S20 FE is more value buy, if we are paying RPP for S21/S21+
Luckily I have telco's subsidized price, else will definitely wait 2-3 months for S21 to drop price or get S20 FE :) |
