For my case, TM call to offer for upgrading on 01.03 at 12pm afternoon, it was already upgraded on 02.03 when I got home at 6pm. Then, received email from Lapasar regarding Deco M4 delivery on 03.03, and received it on 06.03.
Everything completed within a week, very efficient.

Key in your details. After that, just wait for TM to call you to offer those packages and your confirmation in upgrade.
Anyway, not sure if the promo still going on or not.

How long does it take after the loyalty TM call and you wish to upgrade your package from 100mbps to 300mbps ?

They told me will send over the Deco 9 mesh router .....

I didnt receive the router and my speed still 100mbps ....

Its already been over a week since the customer service call
*
For me, after the call at 1pm, the plan was upgraded on the next day when I got home at 6pm. I logged into my Unifi account via website (Chrome) to check. Then, received the TP Link M4 Deco two packs another 4 days. Everything completed less than ONE week.

Have you logged into your Unifi account to check? Also, try restarting your BTU and router.

QUOTE(kk131 @ Jun 3 2021, 12:20 PM)
Wondering what's the best offer that existing Unifi subscribers are being offered now, I received a call from their sales -

300/50 Mbps RM159/month
300/50 MBps with IPTV RM179/month

both with TP-Link mesh deco (router + node)

My desktops, NAS, TV etc. are all connected with ethernet and I already have good WiFi coverage in  the house, so TP-Link equipment is of imited interest. Can you bargain with them to reduce cost if you don't take their hardware or do they have better deals? I read in this thread last November they were offering 300Mbps for RM139.
*
300mbps @ RM139 is for users of 2018, and IINM this plan will revert back to NP:RM199 once contract ended. This plan is no longer offered, unless if you could get someone with this plan switching to yours.

As for 300mbps @ RM159, it’s perpetual discount which the price will remain @ RM159 after contract. If you don’t need the Deco units, you may try to sell them off.

Why don’t you consider DiGi/Celcom/Maxis fibre? Their plans are a bit cheaper.

Read my previous post click HERE regarding my upgrade progress.
Hope it would give you some info.
BTW, the email delivery date will be used as a reference date for your Deco warranty purposes.

is that without hypp tv?
*
Depending on your existing plan:
300mbps @ RM159 without hypp tv.
300mbps @ RM179 with hypp tv if your current plan has one, you may or may not remove it.
That’s what I was told by TM CS previously.

I just upgrade from 100mbps to 300mbps last month. I called the TM sales department to upgrade to the rm159 300 Mbps packages and they agreed. But when I wanna pay the bill they charged me with the original price rm189. Did anyone experience this too? I should have recorded the phone call conversation for future proof  bangwall.gif

Did you include the prorated charges for your current month? Do remember, we pay in advance. There should be separated charges show on the bill.

Can power up using router usb port? Or need plugin into charger port?

Can,1x12cm or 2x12cm both can.
As long as the fan quality is okay, then dont have any problem to power on.
*
It can plug to the router USB, now I would wonder if those low cost fan could run 24/7 without issue.
Is it better to run separately on adapter?

Mine is like the first one. So can remove?
*
There were some retention plan for those user of (turbo upgrade 2018) previously.
300mbps @ RM139 b4 SST was for existing 300mbps users whereas 100mbps @ RM99 b4 SST was for existing 100mbps users.
They could only change to a similar plan, which means 100mbps could only change to 100mbps, but it only allowed to remove UnifiTV.
Not sure whether or not those retention plan were offered now, unless you are able to get someone with those plan to transfer ownership.

TM just installed Unifi fiber -100mbps at my cousin home today. The bundled modem is Fiberhome (white colour) and the router is D-Link DVG-F2452.
Could someone who got this router share if it is good or not? He said hope it is a good one and no need waste money.

I have just installed 2 DECO M4. What I observed is that the signal is strong now (5 bars), but the speed does not change. It's still around 240-250mbps for a 300mbps line. With LAN cable, I can get 300mbps.

My old 2.4ghz & 5ghz access points are still around.

Is this normal?
*
What device are you using? If the devices aren’t capable of getting 300mbps, whatever routers it connected to will be the same.

Are you upgrading to 300mbps @RM159?
If yes, it should be Deco M4 (1 pair) and you sure you’ll get Deco M5?

the upgrading to Unifi 300mbps is remained same price as the 100mbps RM 129?

Thanks

Well, my colleague also got that offers with the price remaining at RM129 b4 SST.
This is the current retention plan for those 100mbps contract ended users.

Starting 31/12/2021, Telekom Malaysia will no longer offer copper based internet plans to new customers (Streamyx, Unifi Lite, Business Broadband)

The era of Streamyx is now over

My contract already expired but they never offer me this upgrade.hmmm

Sorry, I did mention that my colleague got the offers and not me.
For what I know is that, she got the offers by TM calling in her home number.

I'm currently on 300mbps @ RM159 b4 SST with free mesh. If I knew TM would give such offers, I might not take the FREE MESH offers. Anyway, my contract was still more than a year to go at that time.
