When installing awning, ensure the rainwater DOES NOT pour to your neighbour’s house.
Install rain gutter to channel the rainwater towards drainage.

If you need to extend your house, ensure must have clearance of AT LEAST 2 feet from the gate dividing your house & neighbours.

Basic etiquette between neighbours maa.

Simple things also need to teach meh?

Home owner actually quite vavi if already got ongoing warning. Coulda waited for these mofos to come home before taking it down tho. If they resist, Kasi tangkap for law obstruction. Even better. Sampah neighbor.

from the video, it seems that the aunty's awning installed slightly lower than her neighbour's extended bumbung hence the rain water splashing thru the gap. Either install a skirting to cover the gap or adjust the awning higher only.
