I use laptop coolers under my unifi receiver and router and my unifi tvbox.

no.
my headphone dac/amp are more hotter yet the manufacturer give 10 years warranty. btw, the router is just warm, but not melting hot. |

My Asus RT-86U was around 70 degree celsius (5ghz), after using this el-cheapo fan it dropped to around 60.
