need to find an update graphic for this.

Orange = done deal. We signed practically all our targets. Tears in my eyes. Curing my PTSD from Papa Wengz lack of transfer budget days cry.gif

Really left Eze only. Come on Berta, make it 7-0 and bring Eze home..

Ok lord orstein dh umum pasal gyokeres.our new no 14?
*
fk no, i hope Gyok will take #10 and blaze his own path to legendary status with us.. He practically already 1 foot in with his determination to join us at all costs.

All he needs to do is help us win some major titles. If he does that, confirm gonna be generational legend.

I very much rooting for him to make his own name with his own number for his time with us.. Helps us wash off the stink from previous #10 holders as well (barring ESR of course)

Btw, one thing i give credit to Gyok (even before he ever kicked a ball for us) is his determination to go where he really wants to go. Before Arsenal, when he was at Coventry he had offers from other PL clubs as well as abroad, but he wanted Sporting only. Very much like what he is doing with us now, he INSISTS on Sporting only and refused to look anywhere else. He sets his own path long ago and seems to already know what's best for himself, every move he makes is how he believes his next steps would be best for his career trajectory.

Good backstory on Gyokeres. Come watch and get to know more about our new striker signing.

Bit about sporting @ 8:20

We probably need to sell Trossard + Zinny to make that happen..

Call me delusional, but I'm not worried about Liverpool going for Isak at all. In fact, I'm more worried what Wirtz/Salah could do than Isak.

and biases aside, I personally rate Gyokeres > Isak >>> Sesko.

Btw, this is a really good and complete analysis on Gyokeres and what he brings to the table (and his weaknesses).
Strong points: He's not just a lethal goal scorer, he's also good at making plays and a willing creator for others when he is not scoring.
Areas with room for improvement: headers + first touch when playing with his back to goal as a target man like Kai. But I would argue if we are using Gyokeres as target man then we are utilizing him wrongly in the first place..

Arteta is going to have to alter the way he asks his no 9 to play in order to fully take advantage of what Gyokeres brings..
That's why Kai wont be relegated to bench warmer like some of you wishful thinking..

Gyokeres won't be a complete replacement of Kai (not for now at least). There are some games where Kai is more strongly suited to be starting up front for us (particularly vs the top sides)
While Gyokeres would be OP on transitions vs the midtable/lower sides before they can get back into their mid-block or low-block shape..

We can now play both styles depending on who we are facing against.. I would even argue Kai and Viktor can both be on the pitch as well. They complement each other rather well. Kai as the target man 2nd striker false 9 laying it up on a plate for Viktor to do his thing.

Sesko Vs Gyokeres now. But knowing arteta he's gonna start havertz

What is this Swolevertz slander..

I still stand by what I said.
99 strength and 99 pace Swolevertz will even make tungfunglaw wet his bed.

QUOTE(Optizorb @ Jul 7 2025, 01:48 AM)
Btw, i know most of yall are Havertz haters, but have you guys seen how fuckin swole Havertz is these days? Teta wasnt lying when he said Kai has been putting in work at the gym during his injury down time..
QUOTE
Mikel Arteta on Kai Havertz: "He worked hard, you can see his presence and I think he destroyed all the metrics that we had in the gym for last 10 years. Power, acceleration, muscle mass, the way that he has increased certain capacities, agility, he's been incredible." [ESPN]

Feel free to quote me on this, Havertz is gonna be a proper brick shithouse next season man.. AND you guys will enjoy watching him play.
He was already hard to bully pre-injury despite having a lanky build.. Now he's no longer lanky, just swole af.

God dammit this fucking cursed club i tell you..

No wonder we gave Trossard a pay bump cause we absolutely have to keep him now that Havertz is injured. Sounds like ACL and would be out long term..

Not sure who we can bring in because if going to rely solely on Gyokeres then he would be overplayed come January/Feb and more likely to have drop in form or pick up injuries like what happened to Havertz last season..

inb4 bawhhhh gawddd is that nicolas jackson's music..

WTF. Eze from the top rope......

Ornstein; 🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal make move for Eberechi Eze + 27yo wants them. Tottenham lined up deal with #CPFC today & player but after Havertz injury + #AFC now closing in on England in’l. If he proceeds with choice, #THFC will pursue other targets @TheAthleticFC

I dont think anything could ever top spurs finishing 3rd in a two-horse race..

But yet they've outdone themselves by somehow losing a one-horse race...

and why would they do that?

They need a #10 not a LW.

Kenot brain 🧠 teta keep playing Noni on the left πŸ˜΅β€πŸ’«

Really playing only 30-40% of his full ability when shoving him on the left
*
Noni memang Saka's backup anyway.
Saka absolutely cannot and must not be overplayed again this season.
Just that Martinelli has been so shite he had to slot in at LW for now..

And you said it yourself, Noni's best position is on his right kan..So we get to enjoy him in his full glory now.
Im waiting to see what kind of chaos this chaos merchant brings..

Leaving out currently injured players:
ST: Gyokeres/Trossard/Merino
LW: Eze/Martinelli/Madueke
RW: Saka/Madueke/Nwaneri
Left 8: Rice/Merino
Right 8: Odegaard/Nwaneri/Dowman
CDM: Zubimendi/Norgaard
LB: Cala/MLS
LCB: Gabriel/Kiwi
RCB: Saliba/Mosquera
RB: Timber/White
GK: Raya/Kepa

We really did get all of our targets huh.. and 7 players in 1 window. The best window we ever had.
Barring another cursed season of injuries. Now it's on Arteta to step up his game to another level as well.
