We have +11GD for a team thats supposedly playing conservative boring football, playing with handbrakes on, playing for draws, playing haramball, playing terrorist football...

Funny thing is, our squad hasnt even fully gelled yet. There's still a distinct disconnect with our ST especially finding each other in the one-twos.. Its improving game after game. Imagine when we finally get everyone up and running and everything starts clicking..

Btw 3 goals conceded in last 10 games. If not for a freak of a freekick we could have still been unbeaten..

Martinelli renaissance and Gyokeres brace

Anyway one big impact that is a bit underlooked is how much space our wingers now have thanks to Gyokeres.. He alone can/will pull 2 defenders away and free up so much space for the others.. It's a thankless job and when he doesn't get on the score sheet people who didn't watch the match at all will think he's a flop..

Saka no longer double/triple teamed.. that's why Martinelli and Trossard both have been able to put in stellar performances.. More so for Martinelli, he's now playing similarly to when we had Gabi Jesus up top..

Guess the lack of a real 9 has hampered his playstyle/progress, and often in the last 2 seasons even looked like he regressed.. Glad to see he isn't washed.. He deserved the goals.

As for our defenders Big Gabi has taken the spotlight (deservedly), but man Timber is also something else. Consistent 8/10 performance from our RB game in game out. Reliable as fuck. Finally we have a Bacary Sagna replacement..

Eze's position is memang AM. Secondary position LW.. He's not a true LW.. More like a left sided #10 (Basically the opposite of Ode who is right sided #10)..
Often starts out from the back on the left side then cuts inside centrally in the final 3
