Buy r2 if you know its those complete edition.
For physical disc redemption of dlc you still need a r2 account

Mostly I only buy r3 and r1 as I have accounts in both. my US account abit mafan thou. Have to buy top up card to reload then purchase.

For ease of use, just get r3 if not familiar.

90% of the time dlc is region lock.

But you can still get DLC on R2 account and play it on R3 or R1 account, I did this with Spider-Man and it’s DLCs.

You can. But u need extra step on account creation. And get the top up card. Unless you intend to buy lot of games from r2, it's usually not worth it.
Their top up card is not so readily available like US and JAP accounts.

Somehow r2 has lesser discount, and games is more expensive there.

I got HK, SG, UK, JAP, US and MY account.

Ends up only use MY for ease of use, and US cuz they have better discount usually.

On Switch I buy digital for games that I know I will play a lot "primary" but I will have cartridge for some other games that I want to play in between.. that way I don't have to switch cartridges so often (mainly lazy)
On PS4 I bought more discs.. and only bought digital on discount XD

Feel like the situation might be like this.

HN - all PO via store. all self-pickup at store. No delivery to home. hence no issue.

Senq/Senheng - all PO via online only, no walk-in. These chain-stores use their own logistics and delivery trucks. So, PS5 units might have been shipped to their central warehouse by Sony 1-2 days before. Just that they slow in distributing it to their outlets (for those self-pickup) and also arranging delivery to homes. 11 Dec is also public holiday in Selangor - u think their own logistics / delivery guys are working today?
