Is this the right thread to ask? For additional storage, what brand usually PS5 owners use / recommended to use? straight 2TB?

Is this considered a value for money type ?

Usually nowadays they release another physical disc. Totally different disc.

so it has been 7 months of using my Dualsense Edge and it finally showed signs of stick drifting.

i have sent in the device for RMA and was told that i need to wait 7-14 days for a replacement. funny how the Dualsense Edge switches can just be easily swapped out at the service centre yet Sony Malaysia does not have available parts to do so.

i have sent in countless of Dualsense over the years, 4 if i counted correctly and every time they will replace it with a brand new unit because the parts are not user-replaceable - but come on, Dualsense Edge stick modules are available for sale yet they don't have any parts available at their service centre.

the battery life is abysmal, the buttons are mushy and the 'start / 3 lined' button is squeeky. i was told by the staff that the first batch of Dualsense Edge are a little problematic, the newer ones are better, not sure how true but i am quite disappointed with the product.

The only saving grace for me would be the back pedals. Still I am not prepared to spend 999 for a controller, that's half the price of a console d

Repair is RM 100 per controller to fix the drift problems.. Read that the drift will come back eventually later on.. Damn, PS4 controller no drifting problems but PS5 controllers really low quality

A portable device only usable in places with good WiFi is extremely limited. It’s useless on a flight, on the road and in pretty much most situations where you want to play with a handheld. A phone with a dualsense controller has a better value than this.

But looking back, most of these games are quite cheaply  priced in the pre-owned market. Rm400 is worth about 2/3 AAA games, which for a full time working adult with family, is probably all he could play for the year.

For me 400 is the max I'll pay. I'm good till 2027. Any other increment may not be worth the money anymore as I will be paying more than I could play.

only digital version of PS5 slim got this feature , it's an upgrade for the digital version users incase they need those UHD Blu Ray drive later on , meanwhile the disc version of PS5 slim clearly not detachable as the users can go for both physical software and digital software
