They are one of the main stockist/ distributor for Sony products in Malaysia. Means they take in the whole range of Sony products for sale, not only the PS5.

That is why. Strangely many are desperate enough to give them their money and wait patiently. For me, sure would have flipped already.

Nope. Sony MY wont even accept foreign sets for repairs, let alone extend the warranty for it.

Haha... Same here bro... recently the PS5 has been sitting there collecting dust. Too tired to play at the end of the day since MCO is over.

Only worry is this may become a trend where retailers can collect as many purchases as possible and then later cancel the orders. This is not only unethical but it breaks a lot of hearts.

The buyer would be the victim. Especially now when the consoles are such a rare item. If you advertise to sell a used one at RRP, the queue will be from here to KLCC. So not good at all. Its like buying a telco locked phone.

Import tax is for sure already because item cost +shipping is over Rm500 after conversion. Warranty will be null since Sony.My wont accept imported sets even if you would pay for it. So yeah..

Many did queued overnight for 1st PreOrder at Sony centres too. Back then it was pre-order 1 month in advance because PS5 was not launched here yet making the agony of waiting even longer.

Don't want it to spread to this thread but there people who are seriously butthurt with my statement though they know its true. The truth hurts.

Tbh.... I have put mine on sleep mode multiple times but never encountered any issues.....Hopefully it stays that way. I'm still waiting for the official support for external storage before buying a new SSD. Buying one just for PS4 games right now feels like not so worth it.

I have also never tried any discs on my unit yet. Not sure if the DVD player is aligned correctly on my set or not.
