32 inch 4k HDMI 2.1 monitor will cost you more than rm3000.

If you don't mind 28 inch, you can get such monitors at around Rm2600. For example, Samsung g70a (I am using right now) and gigabyte m28u.


Although its spec listed HDMI 2.1, the panel only support up to 4k 60hz. It's the so called fake hdmi 2.1. A very common practice among China 4k tv products.

It depends on personal needs. For me, I am getting old now. If I play multiple games at the same time, I will lost of track on the progress, especially those story driven games. So ya. Because of that, my ps5 free storage is always not lesser than 400-500gb. Of course, I can always install the expansion for so called future proof. But I probably won't since it will get wasted eventually. Lol

I would recommend you just change to cat6 cable. I remember last decade when I was using cat5e, my internet speed was crap. I couldn't figure out what happened. After I did some researches, found out many people said that cat6 is much more stable compared to cat5e, eventhough both of them should be enough for maximum internet speed in this country. I changed and voila. Problem solved. And I threw that cat5e cable into dustbin. Lol.

Come back and ask yourself the same question again in 2023. I am sure you will have different answer by then. Lol.

Yes. It may sound like a waste if you rush to get a PS5 today. And you may think that its never too late to get one in the future. But the problem is now we don't know how long the shortage will go on (not to mention the price hike). And most likely this dilemma will continue through 2023/2024.

Fortunafy I went to queue at the official launching and got one unit for myself. If not, I might have go for the scalpers. The long wait is not an option for me.

Guys. The playstation stars programme is officially launched today. If you are interested, you can join via playstation app. According to FAQ, the rolling will be batch by batch. After certain quota is reached, you wiil have to wait for another 2 months before you can join. So be quick if you are really interested.

The trophies will only be start counting after you join the programme. In short, new players or old players, all are starting at level 1.

It depends. So far we are still in beta mode. Somehow i think they will modify the whole trophy system once the programme is launched in US in October. Anyway, the trophy system is not that important to me. As long as I can earn points (via purchasing games) to redeem PSN wallet, then I am all good. I have plenty of games to buy in next few months until next year. I can easily get that 2250 points to redeem RM90 in no time.

And ya. I am sure later got people will say this loyalty programme is suck. But IMO, it's better than none.

Edit: According to the FAQ, you need to buy 4 games + get 128 rare trophies in order to upgrade to level 4. Damn!

1. I sold my pS4 slim to my brother in law. But I keep my PS4 Pro for backup/collection/nostalgia.

2. If you subscribed to PS plus, you can just upload all your save files into their cloud service. If you don't have one, you can transfer the save files into usb drive. And yes, Before selling, do reformat your PS4. remember to choose full reset. it will take a few hours to complete the whole format process.

You have to check your save file upload setting. It can be either auto or manual. Just make sure all your save files are uploaded into the cloud then you are all good.

Check the back of your router. Got 3-4 Lan ports over there right? If a router cannot allow 2 wired connection, then why they put 4 Lan ports over there in the first place? Right?

The only thing you should worry about is that whether your internet speed is enough for both of you and your brother's gaming at the same time.

Yup. This is also one of the reasons why some people refuse to buy from scalpers, because they would never know how long they have been holding the stocks.

What makes you think that the scalpers will not sapu this new bundle as well? They will grab this opportunity as well since they know most people will want to play GOW in the upcoming festive season. Not to mention those next year big releases such as FF16, FF7 rebirth, RE4 remake, Dead Space remake, Silent Hill 2 Remake, Spider-Man 2. More people will buy from the scalpers eventually.

PS5 already 2 years old now, and we still need to fight with scalpers in order to grab one. What a crazy world.

Technically, we did fight with them, fight against the speed, when it comes to pre-order/online order. Ah..I miss the good old days when we need to queue in front of the store for the new tech release. Of course scalpers will go to queue as well. But at least it's not as bad as the online purchasing. The chances will be bigger.

So did you manage to grab one for yourself? Today is restock. They actually started online since yesterday, around 3pm. I managed to grab one and I also inform the fellow comrades in here.

Looks like Sony will replenish the stock in these few days. You can also find the item at various sony authorized branches out there. Not sure how many units though, since it's "limited edition".
