got to agree with all the above. my friend xs still at 91% considering him using phone while charging and main hentam saja, while my 12 pm at 94% within less than a year. battery life is frustrating.

Hi, want to ask Iphone 12 pro max used for 9 months, now battery health is 92%.

It this consider normal? Will my battery health drop too fast?

Same with your situation 
When dropped to 99%, then i checked my battery status often then found out almost one week plus will drop 1%.
Luckily now is maintain at 92%, don't know when will drop again.

1. No overnight charge 
2. seldom charged till 100%
3. maintain battery around 80%++
4. Never let my battery use below 40%

Yeah, I don't seem to recall it was as bad as this. I search Macrumors forum and there were threads about battery health then but there weren't any traction. Only isolated cases and most probably user issues. Not for the iPhone 12 series though...it's serious business 

Mine drop to 88% already.

1 week 1% quite serious le. Suspect either a battery bug or a software bug.

I’m at 94% since early November last year.

Lol 2021 still got ppl so serious about battery health drop.

Mine seems to still work fine on most of the apps. Only occasionally it doesn't detect the code from SMS, or when it does, it detects the 5 digit "phone number" instead. 

Same as my wife’s 12Promax, she also give up...her case should be more critical as she rarely use the phone and the batt health continue to drop..and rarely use means she only check on WhatsApp maybe 2–3 times a day..morning once, afternoon once, and night...only WhatsApp not even any social media or safari lol..coz it’s not her primary phone....yet batt health still drop about 1% per 1-2 weeks... she sort of gave up already coz there’s no answer/solution to it.. can’t imagine if that’s her primary phone lol

YES! i do get this issue occasionally, sometime it works sometime it doesn't. It's like u need to give it a certain amount of time before u proceed to press the pop up number then it works. Don't press it right away when it pop up. But even then also it doesn't work all the time. Sometime the number doesn't even pop up at all. I really hope they fix this.

I read your "hopefully won't be attracted for iPhone 13" and LOLed! I personally feel we're halfway to getting a new phone, with such a thought/hope. 
I told myself that I don't need the iPhone 13, but each time my XS Max lag for even a second, I'd wonder if I should replace it. 
Like i13 can replace my i12PM (personal) which in turn replace the XSM...  And ya, then there's the iPad Mini if it really comes this time with the bigger screen, I'm not sure if I'll be able to resist further.
Well, let's see what happens next week.

Wahhh  ur tolerance is next level sis! I am super happy with my ipad mini 5 bought last year and used it for gaming and netflix all those stuff altho im using a 12 pro max, reli not big difference the extra 1.3" but having mini 5 and walking around for notes is all smooth......i was using ipad mini 4 and i cant even stand the heating issue, quite laggy and the battery drain and u telling me ipad mini 2.....salute to u weii....but yea, mini  5 is no doubt an absolute beast in its class but i badly need the design of ipad pro slim bezel on mini size which im anticipating in mini 6

nothing beats the clarity of voice call from apple airpods series whether its airpods 2 or pro.....Sony's one tend to muffle, same goes to Jabra, only airpods one actually sounds clearer than u speaking from the phone itself imo 

The price jump from the previous gen Mini is rather steep though. RM300 more gets you the larger iPad Air - that is unless you really want the mini size

I didn't stay up to watch, so will have to go round reading this morning. 

Upgrading? Easier decision for me since I'm one of those primary and secondary phones user; just push the primary for an upgrade and the secondary will follow. BUT... ya, I should go read-look first. Not much difference will mean a shorter read. 

Ya, I just read it's using the A15 vs the A14 of the Air so I suppose that justifies the bump in price. There's also 5G on the Mini but that's not a thing yet for now.

I like mine so much that I've gone and order another, and also a non-Magsafe type for my 11 Pro. Just checked my 3-day old and I can't really see any bothersome fingerprint on the back... maybe because I've a carbon whatever sticker protector on my phone's back. 

I personally find the rubbery quality quite good. Was worried but it's actually not that slippery as I thought. Quite nice feel.

Even went to check for a 13PM version in case I want to get it later...

Don’t worry, I think should be able to maintain above 80% when iphone 14 launch…. even my XS Max is at 89% after more than 1095 days, fully used during the first 730 days, after that becoming a spare/ back up phone….

11PM is at 86% after 730 days - daily use as a main phone….

Currently my IP12PM is at 91%
