Well, the only plus sides I see on the Pro Max vs the regular Pro is the larger battery and the incremental upgrade on the camera which some reviewers already commented it’s not that much different from the Pro in most regular uses.
The new design probably creates the hype. I think 12 is readily available at most places, but the 12 Pro and Pro Max has limited stocks at some outlets while others have ample stocks. Also depends a bit on luck and timing especially if you have a specific colour and storage in mind.

Yeah, agreed, you will only most likely appreciate the difference between the design of the 11 Pro Max and 12 Pro Max if you use the phones without a case. My wife concluded she liked the feeling of the 11 Pro Max better when used without a case coz the rounded edges makes it more comfortable to hold but with a case, all feels the same, hahaha...
Based on my personal experience and usage patterns, the 11 Pro Max will get me about 60-90 minutes more screen time. Standby times are about the same. And yes 128GB of storage is good enough based on that usage for your mum.

I missed to pull the trigger yesterday. The delivery date was dec 23-31. But was too busy and tired out. I can wait it out as long as I get the phone this month. Apple usually sends it a few days earlier from my past purchase experiences.

Just got my Saddle Brown casing. Bought on 7th December 2020, expected to arrive on 10th December 2020. Was elated to receive it a day earlier. 

It does feel soft and the bulkiness of my old casing is totally gone. Buttons are as tactile as others have mentioned.

I really like this one. Thank you for the poison.

Hi there, just got my iphone 12Pro, and I noticed that it has a yellow tint, as compared to XSMAS..Is that normal? The difference is big.

Scratched my leather case, now it has a mark. It doesn’t look that nice anymore, hopefully it will look better later with this new characteristic. I wanted to buy a new Baltic Blue casing but knowing me I will abandon this Saddle Brown for Baltic Blue because deep in my heart I know the Saddle Brown is imperfect anymore, I decided not to.

i have been using Ringke Fusion since day 1 on my 11PM, trusted case since there is a few waist height fall and the phone is safe......the Ringke fusion is nice to hold on the 11PM but on the 12PM its a bit bulky and the edge area feels a bit sharper to hold......so when i received the apple leather case, smaller foot print and softer edge area.......Ya protection less

Yes same Ringke Case, i would rate the Ringke protection is better than the Apple leather case.
i just did not peel off the internal sticker on the Ringke Fusion case.
But the Apple Leather case is now my full time case....

Received FLOLAB tempered glass last week, installed it and notice there are tiny hairline scratches all over the screen when under sunlight. Reached out to their support and they agree to replace one for free, but have to bear the shipping cost .

Go for sapphire screen protector, won't have scratches issue  :thumbsup:

lol, can care to compare? i can guarantee 1000% even the hoda 79 tempered glass will have scratches even in pocket without any keys around.
