i meant the cotton.. it effects the sound presentation quite alot the screw mod doesnt change the performance of the headset but to prevent the plastic from cracking..

beside the soft pad on the top of the headband if im not mistaken... there's 4 of them in total. just a slight 30-50 degree angle twist should be sufficient

I can easily compare between models of beyers but not between impedances of the same model.that guy probably spends a lot of time listening to them before actually putting all of his observation into that article.
