man...im always busy too....but i found the time to go drive all the way down to jaben to audit and buy the DT990.

patience....the time will come... and when a window opens....take the trip...dont rush into it.


keep in mind that ur planning to spend alot of money on a pair of headphones....so be sure on what u wanna spend it on. taking the trip will enable u to audition the cans and decide on which one u like...

but of course...best to bring ur own source and CDs. audit them with songs u are familiar with.

Managed to trade in with uncle.

cleaner and better transparency in overall details(before burn in).


I tried these today:
Ultrasone Proline 750, MS pro, HD650, and the remarkable Markel mod Denon.
(mix tested with my Heed and uncle's Little country tube amp)
the ultrasone proline sounds fake.
ms pro is just as sweet as usual.
retry the HD650, the result still the same...i just dun like it.
the Denon cans is a beat, it's damn nice pair with the tube amp.

got poisoned with the little country tube amp, it's really sweet for vocal musics.

good for u another 600ohm owner come and join the boat
ultrasone proline is too colored for my taste
try the edition 9 much more better
little country is not bad but i found it to be bass shy and not so wide in soundstage
how could u not like hd650 but anyway different ppl have different taste

the bass is sufficient for me.
