Placed order for a Macbook Pro 13, but I'm confused. Says delivers Nov 12, but arrives in Nov 17-19. Which one is the actual arrival date to my doorstep?
It's shipping from China via DHL if it helps.

Ignore the eta dates, once your item is being shipped (after bank clear the funds and appear on your transaction history), you will receipt an official receipt from Apple, with an accurate delivery date on top of the invoice, that should be the delivery date and it’s usually accurate..

question of the year. anyone know when this will be release in Malaysia? I need to buy urgently before migrating to Jakarta. MBP over there freaking expensive.

the million dollar question, when is it coming biggrin.gif nobody seems to have an answer for now, but we believe it will be within 2 weeks from now, or at least before December (fingers crossed) other countries already get them so we should be next in line really soon..

when are you leaving the country?

im leaving around end of Dec. i dont think the stock is readily available. Like US, had to wait around 3-4 weeks.

If they are up in our stores by mid Nov then you could still make it (+1 month delivery), anything later will be a risk..fingers crossed

The MacBook Pro with m1 chip really impressed me a lot. After 2hours of using with full brightness and running some database stuffs. The battery life still can last so long.

Glad that I manage to get this MacBook Pro from switch with RM150 discount for their new outlet opening at Alamanda  biggrin.gif

My previous Mac was the MBPR 15 with i5-4590 model. Its heavy and hot. After 6yrs of using the battery life cannot last more than 5hrs and the left speaker burst (this speaker thingy really trigger my OCD)

At least the 15” served you well for 6 years and still pull 5 hours juice.. compare to many other laptops, even after 2-3 years their juice can barely last 2 hours biggrin.gif its a nice upgrade to the M1 apple silicon.. enjoy your toy!

Am considering of getting a macbook, but unsure whether to get the pro or the air. Main concern is the touch bar, has anyone suffered any issues with the touch bar? i went to apple to try their demo unit, and even that has some touch bar issues (touch bar display kept flickering)

I've been using the M1 mbp well over a year without any issues with the touch bar.. in fact I kind of like it, but in also ok with the F keys.. mbp has fans and will be able to last long but if you are using it for basic stuffs then the MBA handles equally well.. MBA is also slimmer and thinner.. if you have the budget go with the MBP coz why not.. if you are reluctant coz of the touch bar then I'd say unless you are unlucky, the bar is totally fine... plus flickering touch bar can be replaced under manufacturer warranty..

Just bought MBP 13 M1 base spec since the 14 much pricier.. got it at discounted price during oversea trip.

Nice, the 13 mbp is still a very powerful and capable machine..with good battery etc too..only thing are the ports etc which could be replaced with additional accessories, and it’s 3k+ difference for a base to base model, close to almost double the price…so the 13” definitely has its own value smile.gif
