QUOTE(westlife @ Nov 11 2020, 03:07 AM) besides, all the three new macs are having the exact same M1 chip. look likes it is due to the active cooling that makes the macbook pro performs even better than air? System on Chip (SoC) Apple M1 chip 8-core CPU with 4 performance cores and 4 efficiency cores 8-core GPU 16-core Neural Engine Same story with intel macs again. Apple is using thermal limits to differentiate performance between MBA and MBP.

ssd/memory : is not user accessible. If you think you may need more storage capacity in the future, consider upgrading at the time of purchase
mac mini / mba / mbp , all not upgradeable . (here , accessible also written on intel macs on mba and mbp ....

QUOTE(harnsheng @ Nov 11 2020, 12:42 PM) M1 MBA 13" 512SSD 16GB RAM VS M1 MBP 13" 256SSD 16GB RAM. Similar pricing, which one would you choose? Depends whether more storage or having a fan inside the laptop is more important to you.

Interested on the new M1 chipped MBP, price seemed lower than Intel's? Just wondering how the apps gonna be like. I'm heavy Chrome user, do I still get full Desktop Chrome or it's gonna be iOS version of Chrome?

QUOTE(subrok007 @ Nov 11 2020, 09:10 PM) Would this M1 chip perform much faster than intel? Really doubt. That's the whole point of the M1 chip, to be faster and more efficient than intel chips. Apple Silicon M1 Chip in MacBook Air Outperforms High-End 16-Inch MacBook Pro
