The sg besi one alot of ppl comment jatuh standard already price also up kaw-kaw.
I recommend the stall in PJ Old Town food court (not the one at pasar besar) and another one behind the chinese school (confucious i think..  biggrin.gif ).
*
There are a few food courts in PJ old town.. even the pasar also got 2. 1 is inside the pasar and 1 is right beside the pasar

Behind the Chinese School one should be the row of shoplots behind sjkc Chen Moh

Recommend this hidden gem

The boss is ex HK chef

Kedai Makanan Tai Heng
28, Jalan Perdana 4, Taman Segar Perdana, 43000 Cheras, Selangor

The wantan Mee is thin and bouncy with good amount of pork crunchy pork lard.
The oil rice is rich with flavor and not mushy
HK style roast duck, chicken and Siu yuk is good. (Charsiu sux cos too lean)
Their HK style braised beef tendon is best in KL (call to check)

Being a non Chinese, I would recommend the one near Central Market pasar seni..few blocks away.. Tepi jalan.. One elderly hunchback big sized lady will prepare the noodles.. One man cuts the char siew.. The best for me.. The wantan taste unique..

Imho, the small shop across the road, Shin Kee is my preference over Lai Foong.
The yellow noodles are amazing as is the dark gravy made of minced beef.
