QUOTE(Divou @ Nov 5 2020, 04:37 PM) If in Klang, the most famous one used to be the one at Emporium Makan. Now the place has been demolished. Not sure where the stall now but there is another stall that offer almost the same taste, also popular. It is located behind Affin Securitied in Jln Meru Klang. Sell for morning to noon only Heng Kee Wan Tan Mee from Emporium moved to a corner shop already at Jalan Gudang Nanas 4. Not that far from Emporium but it's a dead area. Tried their wantan mee, but felt so so only. Probably cater towards the older generation that got used to their taste. I'm searching for Seng Wantan Mee, used to sell roadside beside 4 eyes Bak Kut Teh. Need to wait 45 minutes for a tiny plate of wantan mee. QUOTE(gheyfriend @ Nov 5 2020, 05:20 PM) klang got 1, used to be road side nearby maybank klg town chiliung plaza now move to a shop nearby oso.. http://kyspeaks.com/2016/04/20/ky-eats-the...n-mee-in-klang/This one? Popular more for the wanton than the mee but seller not a nice person. If go there, would tell you " need to wait , cannot wait dont buy " in a rude tone.

QUOTE(rickyro @ Nov 5 2020, 06:52 PM) But i remember the brisket, they put a lot of tenderiser... I'll go try again one day.. Their "Mee" is chewy and thicker, not the normal yellow mee.., so I always order noodle Mee only. Dry is the best way to enjoy it, the flavor of the mince beef shine... If you don't like weird parts like brisket, just go for the raw beef slice or meatball. The large is RM11

QUOTE(dickybird @ Nov 5 2020, 06:49 PM) Imho, the small shop across the road, Shin Kee is my preference over Lai Foong. The yellow noodles are amazing as is the dark gravy made of minced beef. This is amazeballll, prefer this over Lai Foong and Soong Kee.

If go there, would tell you " need to wait , cannot wait dont buy " in a rude tone. Yup, that's Seng Wantan mee alright. Need to wait 45 minutes usually, tiny portion & very expensive. Guess they also tired of new people complaining, rather serve same old customer haha. But their noodles & even wantan skin is handmade. Most sellers just buy those in bulk. That's why they're unique.

QUOTE(Divou @ Nov 5 2020, 08:33 PM) Even a small stall name you also took note of it. Where have they moved to ? Small indeed, but very unique la haha. How often we find a wantan mee seller makes their own noodles & wantan skin as well? Some people said they moved nearby, but I went a few times yet couldn't find them. So now wondering if anyone really knows where are they now or they've retired since the owners are very old already.
