QUOTE(liquid_ooze @ Sep 12 2007, 01:08 PM) There is no fast way to sign an app. You have to go through symbiansigned.com to get it done. I read in other forums that they re-opened the registration but I tried all my email addresses and doesn't work The thing is, they've closed the registration option for the time being so you have to send them an email stating you wanna join in order to get an account. Any other ways to get a cert? |

QUOTE(harnsheng @ Sep 13 2007, 12:17 AM) ya..mine restarted many times after installing the new firmware. it happens when i received msg sometimes, or calls, or even when wanna listen songs or changing songs! so sad... i mention this few times b4 in this forum but seems to get no help at all! haizz.... Touch wood but I don't experience this problem. Do you have a lot of applications installed? Sometimes it might be the apps causing the restart, not the firmware.the only thing that i like bout this firmware is the battery! it last longer, sometimes up to 3 days. if listen songs, probably a day n a half! its good compared to V11. but the restarted probs! sien....always happen.. 2day twice! hate it |

I have 2 questions:
1. When I select a WIFI network and accidentally key in the wrong password, it doesn't allow me to re-input my password? How do I re-key in the password? 2. When a call is answered/ended, there are no time counter. How do I enable it? |

QUOTE(ViRaViRa @ Sep 14 2007, 12:02 PM) Hi, those who bought AP sets....did you guys got 1GB Micro SD or only 256mb? I bought mine 2 weeks ago and had a 1GB memory card (Nokia)There's 1 guy in garage sales telling 'full set as shop' but when I asked him, he said AP only gives 256MB... I wonder if he would have changed the accessories.... QUOTE(yaosiang @ Sep 16 2007, 01:26 PM) Well, Every Time When We Select An Access Point To Connect, The N95 Will Automatically Create An Access Point To Establish A Connection With The AP... To Edit, Simply Go To: Thanks bro. You mean I should delete it then re-search then connect again? Tools -> Settings -> Connection -> Access Points -> Look For The Wi-Fi SSID Another thing is that whenever I delete sms logs, my call logs would be deleted as well. Is there a way to stop the sms logs or remove only sms logs? Added on September 16, 2007, 5:20 pmI installed PhoneNetInfo and found out N95 has approx 50MB of RAM but there is only 16MB left for mine. Quite a bit of usage there since I don't load a lot of stuff on background except Skye Caller Pro. This post has been edited by clawhammer: Sep 16 2007, 05:20 PM |

Thanks yaosiang
Well, I guess that's the reason why Nokia made the N95 8GB to have double the RAM of our phone. This is screwed as we only have 16MB free after everything starts up! Btw, where do I download Malaysia map for "Route66"? What is the common GPS software that you guys use? |

Hmm, I guess the reason is because the map is too huge and we don't have sufficient RAM to load it up? I wish we can top up RAM ourselves in the phone - Nokia is being pathetic.
Garmin Mobile XT is a good app for GPS? Let me try to help you with *ahem* |

QUOTE(RokXIII @ Sep 17 2007, 06:25 AM) wanna ask a question regarding the WiFi for N95... Did you check if the access point is still valid/turned on? You can try detecting it again.can u guys every time connect to the WLAN access point successfully(including those with/without using WEP key to access)? Previously when I was in digital mall, i tried to connect through an access point named "garmin", i can connect it. But then next time, when i went back to digital mall, tried to connect with the same access point, i can't connect it anymore, it keep pop out error said that 'disconnect' or 'no gateway reply'... |

QUOTE(blinky @ Sep 17 2007, 01:29 PM) Sigh, getting fed up with the N95. Don't worry mate. The N95 isn't a great phone after all when I started owning one. I have a list of cons about the phone right at the back of my head. Just go slow and try to make the best out of it I called Maxis and they sent me my 3G settings which I saved. When I try surfing the net, it says "Packet Data: Connection not allowed" When I open the Maps, it didn't ask me if I want to use internet connection like how it's supposed to, instead it comes out "No Internet connection. Please check your Network settings." But my signal bar has this 3G word under it... HOW?! I can't surf net, I can't use GPS, and I don't know what is wrong with my settings! Help me please. |

I heard there are compatible batteries with higher capacity, i.e. 1400 mAh. Is it available locally?

Thanks BuFung and apologize for the ignorance.
Maybe I should get a compatible battery of the same size like the ori but with a higher mAh instead. |

QUOTE(buffa @ Sep 19 2007, 02:05 PM) From the thread starter, I saw that there is some problem about the slider while we press 'c' button, mine n95 also have that problem. But the link is broken, can someone explain to me? As I might try to fix the slider this weekend... What kind of problems? The only problem I had is a loose slider Thanks. |

I read the guide on how we can tighten the slider ourselves but don't quite get it. Anyone did it before and manage to get good results?

QUOTE(Shinichi @ Sep 22 2007, 01:11 PM) hmmm duno why mine has this issue... i want to save the gmail app into my pc so I can transfer it to memory card. Any idea? I dont want to download it OTA from phone. How about other apps? There must be something wrong somewhere with your phone. If it doesn't help then maybe you want to do a hard reset. |
