Just update to Beta V677.

Software snappier than V653 ATV9.

Dolby Atmos issue; Netflix show Atmos icon when my soundbar off. Atmos logo disappear when soundbar on. My soundbar is Dolby Atmos certified.

Prime Video still can deliver Atmos through soundbar.



After I downgrade to ATV9, Don't Look Up title won't give Dolby Atmos anymore when I use Chromecast with Google TV. Before this it gives Dolby Atmos. Other title show Dolby Atmos.

Can you screenshot your Audio Setting or any audio related setting? What Sony Soundbar you have?

I have local A&S Atmos Soundbar.

Flashing using IMG is consider factory reset right?


I really like this V677, but ATMOS Soundbar bug is annoying me. If you see in my video posted, you can definitely see when sound bar ON, ATMOS change to 5.1 like instantly.

I have try selecting Auto, then restart TV - Still same for ATMOS (Netflix) issue on sound bar.
I have try selecting Passthrough, then restart TV - Still same for ATMOS (Netflix) issue on sound bar.

If within this week no official ATV11 yet, I will try ResetAll procedure after flashing with V677 IMG.

Before this I ON the DTS DRC feature.

Indonesia has release TCL QLED Google TV, not Android TV anymore.

Wonder why Malaysia still not receive the interface?

Oh yes, the Google TV interface for our model. If we on US VPN, you can definitely see what interface I talked about.

I agree with you on choice, Indonesia has 43 inch QLED choice. TCL Malaysia doesn't list 43 inch C725.

Whoever want to buy this TV (55' C725) at this price, better buy now.

This type of price is rare like some of us manage to buy 50' C716 last year at RM2,199. 3 months later, the lowest price is RM 2,499.

Anyway,

Yeah! This morning when turn on the TV, Google TV interface is showing now.

But Netflix still can't be choose for service integration.

What sound bar brand you have?

I'm using local A&S ATMOS 800 still lose Atmos in Netflix. Only able to have Atmos in Prime Video.

I am using technic mentioned in telegram group, flash V677 IMG file then update using OTA V701. Without my sound bar, Netflix able to show ATMOS logo. But Netflix still not recognize my local sound bar. 😭😭😭

V677 to V701 OTA Netflix can retain ATMOS. However don't fiddle the Audio setting if you already set to Passthrough or Auto. If not, ATMOS lost in Netflix. This is without soundbar.

I guess, Netflix only recognize well brand ATMOS soundbar. I have done Passthrough or Auto, Netflix still not recognize my A&S Soundbar.

Now, I am flashing back to V660 ATV9 then downgrade to V645 ATV9 because Audio Issue in V701. The picture is really good in V701 for black but Audio is haywire. ATMOS is not punchy anymore.

For my A&S ATMOS 800 5.1.2 Soundbar, there is a huge difference between Dolby Audio and Dolby Atmos.
If we talking about ATMOS in V677 or V701, my bass is not punchy as in V645. Prime Video app in TV can deliver ATMOS and I am using Chromecast with Google TV for Netflix to deliver ATMOS.
I am using Jack Ryan (Prime Video), episode 1, scene aircraft dropping bombs. In V677 or V701, my bass become soft not like in V645 where my house floor vibrate.
Since you using HTX 8500 2.1, I don't know if you can feel what I am told you. However, you can try.

If you want to buy C725 55 inches and you have collected Lazada bonus, this is really a good buy.

You can get RM 2,590 for QLED 55 inches

I am not aware of this because that seller is offering the cheapest for 55 inch.

However, most of us bought our C716 last year with kronoshop, Pahang seller. Hopefully you get your TV soon.

At your TV Setting, About, Product Information

For C716 user who want to upgrade to Android 11, I suggest use IMG V674 which has been share in Telegram Group.

I believe V674 is the Official TCL Android 11 Firmware because user from Singapore TCL P615 has V674 from factory (mentioned in telegram Group).

My audio issues when using V677 and V701 has gone in V674. Black level also improve from V645. Furthermore, Netflix in V674 also has ATMOS. (Sadly my A&S ATMOS soundbar is not recognize by Netflix).

Is it normal after we flash using IMG, Serial Number and User ID is blank?
And also Play Protect Certified detect my C716 as Device Not Certified.

Yesterday, I update V701 OTA over V674, the Device Not Certified still there.

Then I flash back V674 IMG, the Play Protect section appear in Play Store setting after update. However the Device Not Certified still there. So, I guess no issue about this.

This is my Google Play Store version 29.7.14-21


I don't know how, but after Google Play Store update to 29.7.14-21, Play Protect show under manage app.

After update to Play Store 29.9.13, Device still not certified. My Play Service already latest, Google Play services (Android TV) 22.12.15.

That's the only issue I found. I also just notice that Safety Guard in our TV can install apk. Doesn't need 3rd party explorer app.
