No problem playing Netflix or other streaming app up to 4K Dolby Vision. Play Protect certified issues only for app security for Google not related to DRM.

I suggest you flash V674 and remain V674 as Netflix has Atmos and has no audio sync issues.

Latest official TCL firmware is V702. Someone from Europe mentioned he get V702 when TV is purchased.

Yes, the system update has some issue. Take too long and gave out error. Like you said that's not to concern as we can update the TV ourself.

I am facing Bluetooth remote connectivity problem. After TV wake up, remote Bluetooth is not connecting automatically. I always need to pair back if this happen.

You need to disable T-IME keyboard for Gboard to be automatically enable. That's what I did on my C716 V674 firmware, Android 11.

Do you installed from Google Playstore? or you side load?

I can't find the Astro app on TCL C716 Playstore.

After used V674 on C716 for about a month, I decided to revert back to ATV9 with V662 since users give feedback that this version is snappier.

Last night I flashed it and after reinstalling all apps, I feel the snappier feeling. The play protect section give my TV certified again. No audio delay issue found. No losing bluetooth remote connection after enable quick start.

However, if watching terrestrial channel, dolby audio is low in volume until I change channel and the audio is loud again.

I just flash it today, audio delay issue still persist for people who has soundbar and using Chromecast with Google TV or NVidia Shield, and maybe game console.

Netflix no Atmos logo like V674.

Now I return back to V645 as TCL Nordic last update in their webpage.

I have flashed back the V715 firmware as I think I need more time to test. Here what I found using V715:

1) Using sound bar or not, the Digital Output need to be set at Auto. If you set at pass through, the Dolby Audio / Dolby Atmos will have low volume despite you have increase the volume.

2) Audio Delay Issue on CCwGTV in Netflix with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos title. This issue is only happen if I play Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos title, but not occurring when played title with Dolby Vision and 5.1 or HDR and Dolby Atmos. In CCwGTV I can disable Dolby Vision, which resulted in no audio delay when playing title with HDR and Dolby Atmos. I think this is also happen in V662.

3) I feel the UI is snappier like V662, so I think to use V715 for a while to see how UI response after more Cache has build up.

4) Netflix in TV app is not showing Dolby Atmos, but Prime Video in TV still provide Dolby Atmos. Prime Video is more responsive than before.

5) HBO Go also suffer on low volume is I select Audio 5.1 in drama or movie title. I need to test more on HBO Go app issue.

6) No more Bluetooth connection issue with tv remote. TV remote Bluetooth connection not lost when wake up from sleep as I enable quick start.

Try set your tv audio setting to auto. I got loud sound when change to Auto.

I guess iQiyi also suffer like my HBO Go. When I choose 5.1, the volume is low compare to default.
Certain title in Netflix also suffer from this, as example I watched Polar, the conversation is so hard to hear at my normal volume.

I think I have figured out how to get high volume when source is Dolby Audio in C716 with V715.

First, I set audio to passthrough, when the TV channel or source has low audio, I changed it to Auto. Then audio become louder. I changed back to passthrough and audio remain louder.

This happened when I watch terrestrial TV.

Currently yes. I'm still figuring out the most convenient method for this Dolby Audio issue.

I have frustrated to solve about this Dolby Audio issue in V715, so I have returned back to V645. This is the best for me so far since it's also stated in TCL Nordic website.

1) so c725, this a good deal already.

2) ATMOS Soundbar from well known brand shouldn't have any problem to produce ATMOS from Netflix, Prime Video and Apple TV.

3) Google TV is good enough, no need nvidia shield pro.

4) For me, TCL malaysia support like is very good. Search my post about my screen problem after 4 months bought the TV. (1st they change panel, then after 6 months it happen again, they change the TV)

I you are urgently need TV, then you can buy C725.

However, if you can wait, and importantly you are console gamer, wait for C635 because this model has HDMI 2.1 and 120Hz refresh rate.

In 2022 they have introduced new QLED line which is higher in price and features. You can search C635 vs C735 and you will understand.

TCL slowly try to upgrade their TVs to compete with other brand.

No, C725 is 2021 model. I mentioned comparison for C635 vs C735 because this TVs are for 2022 model.

TCL 55inch C635 selling for RM2,399, where 65inch is RM3,499. Is it really a good deal? The price is the lowest right now.

I dunno if this model C635 is the same level as C716.
