stil not satisfied with the screen..too small >.<
*
yea. can really see the difference if compare with K800i and K810i. but it's clearer and sharper cause it's still using the same 240X320 resolution, only @ 1.9" screen. smile.gif

QUOTE(jigon @ Mar 12 2008, 12:17 PM)
just bought this phone..rm845 AP plus 1 gb card...preference due to:

1. previously own k700i, so quite familiar with the UI
2. design - slim and  no joystick
3. can last for 3 days max.

camera performance is average..but i have my digicam to cover for that..

Cheers  thumbup.gif
*
yeah. agreed with ur points. but what really attracted me to it is the slimness & D-pad. camera is comparable to K810i's, just lack of Xenon flash. smile.gif

doh.gif  why the zoom feature like normal SE phone only?  doh.gif  was thinking get one k770i... beside this, slimmer body & xenon flash, what else feature different with k800/810?
*
QUOTE(hangy2k @ Mar 18 2008, 11:54 PM)
got my K770i today, white color, now charging.. biggrin.gif

@iRonTech :

main features of K770i :

- slim body
- D-pad
- sharp screen 320x240 (though it's small @ only 1.9" as compared to 2.0" of K810i)
- nice photo-taking blue light (lights up when camera slide is opened) drool.gif

disadvantages (as compared to K800i / K810i) :

- lack of xenon flash (only using LED flash)
- lack of image stabilizer

@hangy2k:

welcome to the club, bro. how much u bought it for? bought mine @ RM800 3 weeks back. after few days terus drop till RM770 dy. sad.gif

just managed to install few flash themes into my truffle brown baby. now have around nine flash themes as compared to only one pre-installed one last time. drool.gif

will try to take some photos of it later.

meanwhile, here's the guide of how to do it :

K770i Flash Themes Tutorial

Sony Ericsson Flash Themes Download

the steps are quite simple. just make sure u sure everything clearly & through few times before attempting to do it. smile.gif

i will not be held responsible for anything happened to ur phone. tongue.gif

the phone is actually kinda laggy when using the pre-installed flash theme (Aperture). but kinda surprised its not so for the extra downloaded flash themes. kinda weird. think it depends on how complicated the theme's graphics is.

6120c is well known for its stability and un-laggyness. can't compare with SE phones. smile.gif

shocking.gif  i tot m2 suppose up to 16GB?
*
M2 is available in 16GB now??? blink.gif

anyway, there's a maximum capacity a phone can support. 'cause although sizes like 4GB & 8GB is usable, but once there's too much data inside, it will take a very long time for the phone to access the data (laggy), as it might be too much over its capability. think nowadays max tried is 4GB. smile.gif

QUOTE(skyer @ Apr 6 2008, 01:16 AM)
A couple of questions here:

1) IF K770i install "In the Air" / Underwater theme from T650i, will K770i keypad experience same light effect of T650i?

2) When there is Incoming SMS, will there be light effects behind the cover, just like the T650i?
*
actually i tried using the In The Air flash theme before. YES, it does have the light effect. the keypad's blue camera function signs will light up.

however, regarding the incoming SMS light effects, not so sure about it. didn't tried. smile.gif

Alright.. Gonna try it now. Thanks mate smile.gif  rclxm9.gif

Update: It's Done. Now using Equalizer theme. But the icon not really smooth n nice like it have been stretch. Looks a bit harsh. Still ok la. Gonna try CityBeat after this.

First time Using XS++ my phone will turn on after i unplug n switch it on. but 2nd time 'til now i had to remove n put the battery back then only i can switch my phone on. if i don't do that the phone will not tuen on. Is is normal?
*
QUOTE(onelove89 @ Apr 8 2008, 12:55 PM)
was gonna try out the flash themes, but on second thought, nah~ XD
*
yeah. the equalizer theme is kinda stretched. mine too. think teh best looking one will be Citybeat. it's the one available on W880i i think. biggrin.gif

yeah. it's totally normal for the phone to react like that. no worries. smile.gif

it's totally safe to try the flash themes. just u gotta follow all the steps carefully & DO NOT ever unplug the phone when it's on XS++ browsing the phone's file system. good luck! smile.gif

theres black colour.. just tat its rare.. and its hard to say which colour peels easily lor.. depends on ur luck and how u use it only la..
*
i think as long as u don't use your nails to tap the buttons & SMS it will be OK. but from what i heard from, most of the chrome keypad tends to peel off much faster. belongs to those purple & beige white colour sets. smile.gif
